MTN Nigeria hardly uses established showbiz personalities for its television commercials.Reason? Globacom has cornered all the best hands in the industry as brand ambassadors.Even before then,known faces have been rare in MTN TVCs.
However,it seems MTN is taking a cue from Globacom lately and has decided to use these established faces for its TVCs.
First,veteran actress and television personality,Iyabo Lawani was used for the MTN N1 Billion promo and she is now unofficially called MTN brand ambassador.
Again,MTN is using top Nollywood comic actor,Nkem Owoh of Osuofia fame and Patience Ozokwor for another promo.
With this recent development,it seems MTN is finally signing on Nollywood stars as ambassadors.

hmm i really thank God for u guys atleast MTN has made d right choice by choosing u 2 sweet guys unlike glo who went for those notice me, showbody and show class people who only use there money for competition and to show levels but i stil wonder y all these big companys dont lk using ordinary people who are nt made yet and mk them wat they wnt them to be but am so hapy for u guys i love u too.

I appreciate the role Mr Nkem Owoh and Mrs Patience play in their movie. It is just that Mr Nkem is too funny at times. Sometimes he talks a lot, making some people to wonder whether it is really from the scripts. Anyway we like HIM so much, he has answers to all questions ask him. Mrs Patience is a wonderful woman. She makes sure she does a good job. Woman I admire you for your courage despite the hard life you had gone through.
No matter the role each person plays in a movie, either bad or good, what matters is the relationship you have with your neighbours. A movie(s) can't change somebody's character except the person has a bad character. All nigerian movie stars are wonderful. More power to your elbows!
