MERCY AIGBE AND HER HUSBAND
The gist flying all over the social circuit, concerning top businessman and hotelier,Larry Gentry,the amiable husband of Nollywood star,Mercy Aigbe,is not palatable at all.
The gist according to those who spread it, is the alleged detention of the big boy by the police in Abuja for allegedly being involved in a scam involving several millions of naira.
As the story goes,the case has been on for sometime,but Gentry’s first wife who is a top police officer,we hear,had helped in quelling the fire.
The case as insiders put it,almost cost her,her job as she defended her man with all her might.
Things however took a different turn following Gentry’s marriage to Mercy Aigbe,the top actress and producer of the new wave making flick,Osas,Omo Benin.
Mercy was alleged to have taken total control of Larry Gentry’s heart and home and made him dump his police officer wife.
Mercy has often told the press that she met Gentry unmarried before he wed her.
This we hear, led the police officer lady to move her face away when a fresh petition was fired by Gentry’s associates alleging he duped them and effectively reviving the old case.
We hear that he was whisked to Abuja where he was detained for over a week even as investigations on the case continue.
Meanwhile,in a recent chat ,Mercy Aigbe laughed off the allegation,insisting that the story was totally false and revealed that Mr. Gentry was away on business at the United States.

We say there is an element of truth in the story. Will Nollywood girls learn not to jump at something that appears to be gold? No . This why they have failed marriages and mark us, Mercy Aigbe will dump this fraudster soon and start looking for another prey/fraudster .
