Yvonne Nelson Mocks Lagos Airport , Nollywood Films On Twitter + Fab Pics From Her Recent Naija Trip

Story by Ugo Dosh

Last Updated:Sunday, August 19, 2012

About an hour ago, the pretty actress tweeted the pic below on her official twitter profile taunting Murtala Muhammad airport, Lagos, Nigeria where she went on a business trip some weeks ago:

This lady sha. She knows how to look for trouble. Lol

Meanwhile, the screen goddess really had a nice time in Lagos, Nigeria, where it seems she went to shoot a movie. The Ghanaian star, however, did not seem to like the quality of the movie she went down there to shoot as she expressed her distaste for the production on her Twitter page via a tweet which read:

Hush—–no words.messed up production

It’s obvious that this diva really enjoyed her stay in Lagos. As one of her Twitter fans said, I think YN should get a Nigerian passport as she seems to love and always be in Naija.

Keep it going babe. You rock!!

Here are some fab shots she took while in Naija:

A Kiss from Naija (as she dubbed it) - gorgeous!

She is one of those actresses frm Gh who ve no biznes acting cos they ve no acting skills...am not surprised that she is not professional...imagine her sayin rawbbisssh abt wat pays her bills n put food on her table? well i blame those hungry directors/producers that still use her. Why didnt she walk out of the production location wen she noticed it was messed up?
She is just seeking attention and ruining a career she doesnt even have yet.

Why are Nigerians such ugly people inside? There's no reason to be abusive. You people get so abusive when someone says something about Nigeria that you deem offensive. This is not offensive at all. She told the truth so why the abuse? She has every right to feel this way. You're a disgrace and so is Nigeria. With all its money and natural resources, this is the best that your government can do? Your anger is misplaced and sounds like it's out of jealousy. Nobody would look at this woman and say she's ugly. You're jealous and ugly!

One of the reasons why Nigeria is behind every other nation on the planet is their inability to accept their failure. You can not critivise someone for telling you that you have failed. It is simply the truth, accept it so that you might be able to try and fix it.

I'm sure that while entering the airport you noticed it was under renovation or did your glasses deceive you? All electronic billboards and screens have been disabled cos of the renovation. She's just a typical Ghanian who wants to gain rep for their country by mocking Nigeria. A country that developed the industry she's making money from now. She also talked about the production. As a professional, you should know a wack script and dissociate yourself from it but anyway, that just depicts that she's not a professional. The production was probably wack to her cos there weren't obscene scenes in the movie unlike our Ghanian counterparts that now produce p**nographic movies. SMH. Just keep doing what you do and mind your business and stop comparing Nigeria to Ghana cos firstly, your entire country is smaller than Kano state, secondly, we helped in developing your entertainment industry and we also take Ghanians as part of us but in everything they do, they just wanna diss us.

Did I feel upset? No. Bruised? No. Why? She is a nutter - the cumulative effect of her jealousy towards Nigerians is killing the few brain cells she has!

While I acknowledge that Nigeria is endemically corrupt nation where an elected official, within the first few months in the office, can buy a mansion that costs thirty times his annual salary and pay cash in foreign currencies (and would rather transfer their assets to friends and family members to avoid being caught), private looters deposit money in foreign banks (including Ghana banks), some undergraduates study useless degrees while hoping to get jobs in oil companies or banks or else would be loitering the streets after graduation, 4*9 on the rise, movie owners would hire foreign, less creative actors (like Yvonne Nelson who would have remained unknown in Korforidua) just because they are less expensive, it is equally important to tell Yvonne that the emergence of Nigerian business and management gurus in Ghana who set up businesses, have private mansions and commercial houses (pay property taxes), and Nigerian students who pay tuition at overseas rate contribute immensely to the current state of economic boom in Ghana! But, as much as Ghanaians enjoy the status quo, seeing classy Nigerians in their country make them kind of inferior hence status quo bias! Otherwise, a typical Ghanaian business man or woman is comfortable with a beauty salon or low class cosmetic store or a go go house! And their most expensive home is what a Nigerian would classify as a "regular house". I can understand their frustrations and honestly, I feel for them!

This is not to say that Ghana, as small as it is, is free from corruption! Nah! Like Richard M. Nixon (1913-1994) said: "Sure there are dishonest men in local government. There are dishonest men in national government. There are dishonest men in other nations too".

Take it or leave it Nigeria aint worth a pot to piss in. You are the most useless country in the whole wide world BLACKLISTED from all 4 corners of the world. South Africans dont want you, British dont Want you, Americans dont want you, Ghanaians dont want you. You either STEAL, KILL or DESTRoY and the whole world knows that.

Yes you are wealthier as a nation, but you dont have any peace, AND NEVER WILL, you cannot even buy peace if you tried and thats why you are now alll running to ghana. I cant wait for a new govt to come in power and kick yall mtherckers out.

Ghana is a smaller nation, less wealthy, but we remain and forever will remain content with what we have, We will forever be a praying nation full of nice humble ppl. Are educated are more eloquent than you and thats why our kids are able to compete in Spelling Bees in USA and not have to say POORSHOE when they mean pursue We will not allow you ALATA ppl to fkc it like you have done yours.

100 trillion dollars will never still give you the blessing God has blessed an average Ghanaian. We don't worship money - We worship God. We dont worship materials, We worship God. Who is driving or wearing what does not define a Ghanaian like it does a Nigerian .We are different and forever will be.

No African from any african nation wishes to be a nigerian. God forbid.Nyame Empegu. Id rather die. And vice versa am sure you don't want to be us cos you cant even if you tried as most 4*9 have tried to take on identities like they are Ghanaian. Your nasty accent is a dead give away. Have the never to cross borders to come and get Ghanaian passports to pass for Ghanaian to travel cos no country wants any oyall mofos. YOU ARE BLACKLISTED.

LINDA IKEJA. No wonder you are not married and you will NEVER get married. You always always always instigate things that is so not necessary. This tweet that this girl tweeted was just harmless. There was nothing wrong with it yet becuase you dry ass useless blog had nothing to post you just had to instigate some shyt as you always do.

To say a Ghanaian is jealous of a Nigerian is laughable at best. That statement is so f*****h and redundant, Jealous of what? your blacklisted world wide reputation?, your failing soccer team? your 4*9 nation, Your constant arm robbery - a nation with no peace, Your fked up university system with all that culticism nonsense, never heard of in any other african university let alone ghana, Your Boko Haram Bombings? Tell me what exactly a Ghanaian is jealous of from a Nigerian. You are a joke. Oh maybe we are jealous of the fked up NEPA system where in 2012 you cant even have 24 hr light unless you use generator. Yeah right, we ghanaians are very jealous of you ppl. Under our foot.

You on the other hand are the ones jealous - cos you dont understand and cannot fanthom why a small nation like us is being blessed by God even with the little money we have yet yall claim to have gajillions of money, yet you cant have peace. Why dont you use that money you have to buy peace. Go buy peace in the grocery store.

Linda you are a very f*****h girl for instigating this thread.

Nk****a sem kwa.! Yall better be glad i am not the president of Ghana, i woulda kicked alll yall out, Take your money ritual money and get the fck out. We are content with the lil we have and will never compromise our peace and humility.

For the record, two of my employees are from Ghana and to be honest, they are very loyal and I love them!

Efawuhuben, you think you are essentially articulate and versatile! Put differently, you are an Oracle! But, that's not what I am seeing here, I am afraid. I honestly would like to ask and it's very important, have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness or undergone conventional therapy? I'm asking because I notice alternate personalities in your write up and can confirm anthoritatively that clinically, you are a classic case of severe mental illness! Meaning, a devastated, frustrated, angry, c***y person! Therefore, I would not respond to everything you said, after all, most of what you typed are "as viewed by a mad person"!

You stated "emphatically" that British and Americans don't want us! Mann, you just can't speak in generalities or else your argument is based precisely on ignorance! Now listen, in terms of population, Nigerians in the UK is well over 2 million! In 2008, Office Of The National Statistics stated that "Nigerians in the United kingdom are one of the most resourceful, intelligent, educated, hard working, successful nationalities that make up the mult-cultural society of United Kingdom".

UK Bureau of Census shows that, in 1998, 3,550 Nigerians were granted British citizenship and indefinite leave to remain, in 1999, 3,481, in 2005, 6,615, in 2010, 6,995, etc. So, how can you say British don't want us? Not only do they want us, they need us!

I got my degrees from top Universities in England. During that period, there were and are many Nigerian lecturers including my eldest brother who is presently a senior lecturer! His name is in the UK's Who's Who! Every Teaching Hospital in England and Wales has a Nigerian surgeon! I can't quite understand what you meant by our "difficult accent". So, I sincere ask you...do you even understand what accent means?

In 2010, according to U.S. Bureau Census Data, Nigerians are the single largest African immigrants in the United States with estimated population of over 3 million. They also have the highest percentage of people with advanced degrees and college graduates in the United States, more than any other ethnic group, Chinese, and White Americans inclusive! Listen, I am talking about real data here and you are there typing and talking about some Spelling Bees!

You call Nigerians corrupt! If I understand you correctly then, you are saying basically that all Nigerians are corrupt? Hmm! If every Nigerian is corrupt, then every Nigerian is rich! What a baseless logic you have there... As for Ghana being better, and some Nigerians wishing to naturalize there, I would only say, deal with yourself and stop projecting your feeling of inadequacies upon others!

The young lady's utterances are immature, yes Nigerians have issues to me they appear like a united nation, large as their country is. I call ma beloved country d shining star of Africa cuz dat is exactly w@ we r.while nigeria will alwayz remain d giant of Africa who is dirty.i think d president of dat corrupt country should organise an all nation crusade n all dir powerful pastors like rev.kings,tb Joshua, dir plenty cele pastors @ dir dirty railway area should deliver dem.nigerians av a lot of problems, corruption is dir greatest,if a governor don't embezzle today or police collect bribes, then it is yahoo yahoo boiz or boko haram or d militants @ d Niger delta.the funniest one is d agbero dat runs after buses n bully d rest of d citizens, nigerians claim to av more universities than Ghana yet every year they produce more touts to d street,w@ an irony.ur universities there r all a big flop d@ is y we av thousand of nigerian students in our campus, most of dem r thirsty 4 quality education which they can neva get in urs campuses filled with cults, greedy n lazy lecturers with no facilities from ur poor management.let a nigerian on dis site tell me just one reason y he is proud of being a nigerian Apart from d blessed resources dat they av den i will give him 99 reasons y he should be ashamed of being one.
Year by year Ghana is growing, our cities r so neat,we obey d traffics rules, even our market so clean unlike d former popular Oshodi.10x to fashola 4 cleaning d place.i no a lot of u r surprise how i got to no every detail about ur country u people r trying hard to polish good on dis site, well a friend invited me over 4 six months but i spent 1 month cuz i couldn't stand d light offs, noisy generators dat steals away ma sleeps n d dirty environment despite ur monthly sanitation dat happens every last Saturday of d months.......lol.and 4 those of u who said our entertainment industry is a flop,it seem like u r lacking in d latest entertainment news so let me upgrade u.our movie industry is doing so well in terms of good script n film quality,we now av one of d hottest dance moves in d world called azonto which is notin like dat ur mumu chicken dance people call alanta.even ur celebrities like 2face,yq,kenny n dayo all own a house here cuz dey love our peaceful nation while our ghanian celebrities always run back home due to ur ill mannerisms especially robbery.our banks in Ghana don't av so much security like urs cuz we don't av robbers everywhere like d so called giant of Africa.i still av much to say but one advice i av 4 u is to be ur brothers keeper cuz in Ghana here if u see a yoruba n ask how d igboman is like,he will tell u dey like money,d hausa man is an aboki,n d calabar like dogs.basket mouth even insulted his nigerian girl just to crack a joke here in Ghana n he said yoruba girls r so dirty, their legs tear tear dat if dey put dir wrapper 4 river all d fishes go die...hahaha.am sure dir p***y realli smell.pls nigerians i av no beef am onli saying d facts here.bye n remember don't think of w@ i said too much cuz u may av a high bp .........lol

Ghanians are so s****d and behave childish. You ghanians are jealous of NIGERIA because Nigeria is a rich country(only the poor gets jealous of the rich)if boko haram should visit ghana they will destroy it in one day. Ghanians are tools and slaves to whites. Nigerians are wise that's why they play yahoo yahoo and 4*9 without being caught(yahoo yahoo and 4*9 are not meant for lazy, dull and sluggish people).Ghanian girls are cheap and worthless b***hes that's why you keep seeing b*****d poor half-caste in ghana movies. Nigeria is the only country in the world with more than 350 languages, tribes and cultures,God has blessed Nigeria a lot in all aspect and very soon boko haram will be history that's what God said. No country is perfect, every country has its ups and downs get this into your thick blocked skull cause you don't know the crisis that might befall ghana in the future. Thank God for our present leaders who are trying to make things right that means Nigeria will smile in future by God's grace. Some places in Nigeria have uninterrupted power supply even the town I live in. Its time for Nigerians to protest and ask the government to stop giving light to ghana and other ungrateful african countries. This hate is getting much.

Well if the federal goervnment was so concerned about creatin better lives for the people why don't they start by slashing their salaries and allocations by 50% and see if dat wud not go a long way.they just want to punish the masses because even if fuel price is placed at 200 its not goin to affect dem in anyway.so bottomline is dat they really don't care how we survive.they r talkin about amenities but I would like to know what they use our tax for and the funds allocated to each states.corruption is just too much in dis country and if we are to move forward we need to tackle corruption first.

This news was in the Guardian , UK Newspaper of Tuesday 20th November , 2012.
This is just one of the news reports of what Ghanaians do best , both in their country and abroad . Ghanainas are great international fraudsters and accomplished expert thieves , yet they think they can diss Nigerians .
When Ghanaians commit crimes and they are caught , they would say they "Nigerians"; but this Ghanaian Kweku Adoboli couldnot do so , even if he tried to claim Nigerian nationality to tarnish Nigeria's name as Ghanaians love to do.

The Guardian 20- 1-2012
" Kweku Adoboli , a relatively junior City trader who almost destroyed the banking giant UBS through increasingly reckless illicit deals, has been jailed after being convicted of what police describe as the biggest fraud in UK history.

Adoboli, 32, racked up eventual losses for the bank of over £1.5bn during three years of secretive, off-the-books trades, which he managed to conceal from bosses. At one point, the potential liabilities totalled more than £7bn, a sum described by prosecutors as sufficient to bring down the bank.

The judge, Mr Justice Brian Keith, jailed Adoboli for seven years after the jury at Southwark crown court convicted him on two counts of fraud. He was acquitted on four separate charges of false accounting.
Police and prosecutors sought to portray the Ghanaian-born, British-educated former public schoolboy as an out-of-control gambler who dispensed with the safety net of parallel hedged deals – a requirement that limits profits but, crucially, caps liabilities – purely so he could become a star trader with a big bonus.

Perry Stokes, the City of London police detective chief inspector who led the investigation, said Adoboli was "a young man who wanted it all and was not willing to wait".
Describing the case as the UK's biggest fraud, he said: "To all those around him, Kweku Adoboli appeared to be a man on the make whose career prospects and future earnings were taking off. He worked hard, looked the part, and seemingly had an answer for everything. But behind this facade lay a trader who was running completely out of control and exposing UBS to huge financial risks on a daily basis."

Ghanaians are liars and deceivers who love to tell those who care to listen that " unlike in Nigeria, Ghanaian is one big , united , happy and very peaceful country !"
This is a deliberate falsehood by black devils called Ghanaians.
The facts and truth of the events in Ghana are : just like the Northern moslems are terrorising the rest of Nigeria , also in Ghana , there is terror and there is NO PEACE in some parts of Ghana , especially in Northern Ghana !
If you GOOGLE "Terror and tribal conflicts in Ghana" ; you will see everything about their so-called " peace" which Ghanaians don't want the world to see there.

Read this NEWS report by one of Ghana's own newspapers IRIN .

ACCRA, 1 February 2006 (IRIN) -
Ghana may be regarded as an oasis of stability in a region ravaged by strife. But the country faces a host of bitter ethnic and chieftaincy conflicts, especially in its three northern regions.
Most notable is the unresolved Dagbon conflict that erupted in 2002 in the northern town of Yendi when the paramount chief of the Dagbon ethnic group was murdered along with 40 of his followers.
The killers, allegedly members of a rival Dagbon faction, have never been found and neither has the dead chief's head.

In 1994-95 a similar chieftaincy feud in Bimbilla, some 65 kilometres away, sparked a conflict in which 2,000 people died, over 400 villages were destroyed and 200,000 people were displaced. Some of the Bimbilla fighters were armed with AK-47s.

Easy access to arms is a serious problem across West Africa, with areas that can rapidly descend into conflict and crisis as in Cote d'Ivoire – once a bastion of peace and economic development but since 2002 gripped by civil war.

In January this year, a new chieftaincy feud again thrust Bimbilla into a state of violence, forcing the Ghanaian government to send in troops to enforce a dusk-to-dawn curfew throughout the month.
In an in-depth interview with Emmanuel Bombande, Executive Director of the conflict resolution think tank West African Peace Building Network, IRIN looks at why northern Ghana has been blighted by a spate of violent chieftaincy disputes, and what risks this poses to the future stability of the country.

Why are we seeing so many conflicts in northern Ghana?

You need to first analyse the social organisation of ethnic groups in northern Ghana. Firstly, the four key main ethnic groups are organised around chiefdoms – the Gonjas, the Dagombas, the Nanumbas and the Mamprusis. These four families or tribes have a direct family linkage but with time separated and migrated to form these four kingdoms. That is why you will find similar names like Andani amongst the Dagombas and the Nanumbas. Remember also that among these four chiefdoms, the King of the Mamprusis is regarded as the eldest and that is why, traditionally, he is allowed to settle disputes involving the other three kingdoms.

But unfortunately, our indigenous mechanisms in resolving conflicts have not been promoted. Otherwise, the traditional institutions would have helped a lot in calming down tempers in these hotspots.

Secondly, there are also numerous ethnic groupings in the region that are not grouped along chiefdoms. However, these tribes more or less respected their spiritual heads as the landowners and authoritative heads. But the British ruled its colonies indirectly through the chiefs. So in areas where the British perceived there were no chiefs, they brought in princes from any of the above four kingdoms to rule.

4*9 ( sakawa) in Ghana

Fraud and stealing of the greatest dimension is the order of the day in Ghana, the country of thieves and deceivers who deceive the world by saying they
" Ghana is a country of peaceful , humble , content and honest people".

Check out this and find out who are the greatest 4*9ers and liars in Africa.
Culled from Ghananian newspaper Ghana- SpyGhana.com of 19th June 2013 titled:
" More Youth in Ghana practising SAKAWA ( 4*9) "

Head of Documentation and Visa Fraud at the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service, Sup. Francis Baah has advised the youth to refrain from cyber fraud and concentrate on their education to get a better future.

Cyber Fraud known in local parlance as “Sakawa” is an electronic crime in which people deliberately deceive others and dupe them. The degree to which this evil act extends its wings into our society is devastating and alarming with a huge number of the country's youth getting involved.

In an interview with XFM's Mabel Nyadroh, Supt. Francis Baah noted that the practice is becoming severe and gaining more grounds rapidly.

''It is becoming serious, formerly it was on a small scale but now it is worse. Even people who are transferring money for goods bought outside get their monies being diverted into different accounts. What you haven't worked for, don't expect to reap from it, cyber fraud is a temporary success and cannot take you to the end of your life,'' he added.
Elaborating on the modus operandi of these fraudsters, he said, “some of them go on Facebook and other social networks and they are able to procure friends and establish relationships and change their identities and enter into marriage”. They then go ahead to take money and other valuables after which they back off.
Others are able to persuade unsuspecting prominent people by disguising themselves to commit crimes like blackmailing.

In a studio discussion with Mauvie Hayford and other guests on 'X Factor' radio programme on XFM, a section of the public had the view that parents and policemen support these people who engage in cyber fraud but Supt. Francis Baah debunked claims of police men engaging in cyber fraud.

He however noted that , these fraudsters rather try to pay bribes to the police to set them free when arrested.

The “Sakawa” boys he said become so much indisciplined to the extent that their parents become afraid and cannot report them to the police.

Supt. Baah also disclosed that some of the “Sakawa” boys become the bread winners of their families which makes it difficult for the parents to report their activities to the police.

He believes the practice can be reduced by education to create awareness so that the public do not fall prey to the “Sakawa” boys.

SHAME ON GHANA , A LAND OF LIARS AND THIEVES!
Contrary to the " peaceful and corruption -free " picture which Ghana portrays to the whole world; the real truth about Ghana society is that their country is a land of shame , sorrow , daily hardship and strife caused by constant daily electricity failure in Ghana.

This recent news story about power outage in Ghana is culled from a Ghanaian news paper, the "African Spectrum Newspaper" , of April 11, 2013.

"POWER OUTAGE SITUATION IN GHANA IS CRUEL AND SHAMEFUL

Ghanaians are facing a very serious crisis. It involves erratic power supply that makes people spend their nights in darkness, interferes with their ability to lead normal daily lives, endangers their health and safety, and hurts them economically. Almost on a daily basis, electric power to homes and businesses is interrupted without warning. Sometimes the power is turned on and off several times a day, just as kids having fun with a light switch would do; other times it's off the whole day, bringing civilized life and economic activities to a screeching halt as food items in refrigerators and freezers go bad, creature comforts such as electric fans and air conditioners become useless in the sweltering tropical heat, and popular pastimes like watching TV or playing music on the entertainment systems are rendered practically impossible.
Business places that don't have alternative power sources are forced to either shut down or suspend operations. And just imagine the catastrophic impact the erratic power supply has on vitally important, life and death establishments like hospitals and other medical facilities and their patients. The only people in the country who are insulated against these terrible deprivations and inconveniences are, of course, the ruling elite and the few individuals who can afford to buy their own power generators.
This situation, unheard of in peace time anywhere else in the world, has been going on since the last 4 or 5 years. It is blamed on a variety of factors, namely, inadequate supply of diesel oil, low water levels in the Akosombo Dam, and a deficient distribution system – factors that are not exactly insurmountable or even unpreventable, factors that might be managed with little effort anywhere else. Before the recent general elections, however, there was a glimmer of hope that, at least, the fear of voter retaliation against the incumbent administration might act as an incentive for it to move more aggressively to resolve the crisis. Indeed, President John Mahama and his NDC spokespersons missed no opportunity to assure their campaign audiences and the general public that power shedding, as the blackouts are euphemistically labeled, would be a thing of the past soon after the elections. Yet more than 2 months after the elections, the situation has hardly improved and, even more, the Electricity Company is now telling people to brace themselves for more of the same – indefinitely.
Ultimately, however, responsibility for the misery into which Ghanaians have been plunged night and day rests squarely on the shoulders of the NDC government, which has been in control of the affairs of the nation in the last 4-plus years. The administration seems to have gone to sleep at the wheel while the energy sector, like other areas of government and the economy, descends into total chaos.
