Haba Jonathan's desperate list
Omo Oba | 1/21/2014 7:41:31 PM
While I believe that Nigeria is a secular country, the events that have been unfolding in Nigeria political scene have proven otherwise. This is the reason why I am skeptical of the ministerial list of the President. I call it a desperate list. Except Akwa-Ibiom and Rivers, all others are Muslims. Even the 2 that represent my geographical area of old Western Region; Lagos and Osun, are all Muslims. All in the bid to get elected for 2nd term, almost everything objectives is compromised. God helps Nigeria.

See d yeye list self full of inefficient pdp faithful gorvernment fund leaches.as if nigerians ve not had enuf from inefficient i***ts like deziani and oduoah.imagine someone like obanikoro, after his faild lagos bid,and as a so calld nigerian ambassador to ghana,he is nw chosen as minister of whatexactly?what re his qualification in dt feild?what good did he do to improve d plight of d nigerians living in ghana?same applies to the oda 11,plus all d existing crop of ministers.. Let me get back to my company's financial performance biko cos all dese i***ts cald nigerian politicians re only getting me pissd off.
My criticism is objective.
Omo Oba | 1/22/2014 10:01:50 PM |
Government is by representation. You are represented by ethnics, gender, Religion, and by location (region). So for anybody to make selection of Minister lopsided is surely not an act that is acceptable. It is surely not something I need to be crucified for pointing it out. I am a Nigeria, a Christian and from the Western part of the country. I feel I am not adequately represented. Anything wrong with that. I participated in electing the President and I have every right to praise him or criticize him as the case may be. Ugoo you may be alright with his list, I am not. Period.

my take on this subject matter is that, It indicates a healthy democratic principles. once confirmed by the senate should not disappoint Nigerians because for so long Nigerians deserves dividends of democracy. constructive criticisms Are welcomed but let's give them a chance to see How they will pass or fail in their mandates

Ministerial Appointment

We can not continue to use the same people again and again, I am disappointed in the fact that younger people are not considered in appointments. Let us understand that the younger ones have more energy to work and therefore should be given more responsibility,it is high time we begin to appoint competent and result oriented individuals into positions of authority, enough of politics

the three questions in my mind are:
1. do this people have integrity?
2. do they have the intelligence required for the work?
3. do they have the strength to carry out the work?
these questions are very expedient because we need experts, competent and credible/honest people in these positions. i just pray that personal interests and external influence will not make the president to do the wrong thing. God help Nigeria!

ON THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW MINISTERS
ROMEO | 3/8/2014 9:32:04 PM
Let us join hands with mr president to move nigeria forward and pray for the success of the new ministers at improving the lives of nigerians instead of this undue emphasy on religion, religion should not be rivalry because we are all serving the almighty but in different ways.
