Pastor Chris Okotie
Ahead of the 2011 general elections, the Pastor Chris Okotie of the Household of God Ministry has formerly declared his intention to contest for the position of President under the Fresh Democratic Party platform in next year's presidential election. Reverend Okotie told journalists in Lagos that his motivation comes from a patriotic zeal to lead Nigeria through a much needed change. His current declaration made it the third time the Man of God has formally unveiled his moves to lead the country. � Reverend Okotie, who has contested the seat twice, charged President Goodluck Jonathan to write his name in gold by ensuring that every vote counts in the 2011 elections through viable mechanisms for free and fair elections in Nigeria as well as the conduct of acceptable on-going electoral reforms. He claimed that the PDP-led federal government is a product of rigging, and could therefore set things right in the 2011 elections to elect and not to select people to represent Nigerians at leadership positions. In his word he said, "One of these is electoral reform, and also transparency and good governance. We can't have true democracy if the people's votes do not count; where selection instead of election is what produces the leaders."

Really!! ok let's do the mathematics, We have 36 states now, from calabar which is cross river,then Rivers state,Akwaibom that his inlaw state,Bayelsa a sister state to Rivers,Delta,Edo,they like and cherish him,Benue and Platue, all the youth there na him get them,all the Niger delta na him own,then,Lagos which is his last bus stop,if we minus all these state from the 36,the remaing is the northern States of which one state from the north is more in population than the entire Niger Delta.

Forget about what the pastor is saying. He will say all that won't he? I think it is publicity that he is craving for himself and his church, not an election win. After all, the election will probably be won before it even begins, if you know what I mean.

Most of the black pastors today are like laxatives. They irritate the s**t out of you. The so called, desire every thing good except God him-self. Many just use God and the bible to exhort them-selves. Many hide under a cloak of false humility but their ego and pride is clearly seen. 0kotie, just stay with your congregation and stop living in a fantasy world.

Not all that call me Lord ! Lord !! Lord !!! will enter the kingdom of God. Somebody should speak sense into this man's head. If God has called him he will appreciate him taking care of his folks and running of kind of election. He is definitely a thief. He was Jesus that the devil ask him to jump down from the mountain so he can give him riches he would have sold our salvation to Satan and will the christian will have been suffering. Well, let me just believe that this guy just want to ans ''PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT' because Okotie and i know that there is NO WAY he can have a share of ruling this country even if the most free and fair election is conducted. On what ground are we gonna market him internationally? I only know Okotie as a good english man, if he wanna resign from his church, he will make a good impact in English dept University of Benin. Ok let me ask, If you Okotie become President today, what happens to ur calling as a pastor? will u leave God's call? Think twice pastor!

Good evening to you all. I am so angry with many of you and others that commended on Pastor Chris desire to be President of Nigeria. You are all the same as the past and present Governors and President that have ruled this nation and run it down that nothing can be shown for the greatness Nigeria is. You have cried under the unjustness, the oppression, the corruptions, the no light for 50 years, the no good roads for 50 years, the unemployment for 50 years, the no pension for your old parents for 50 years, no housing for 50 years, etc Also you are aware that all of these leader from local government, to state government, to house of assembly, to president that have ever ruled this nation have only created lack, and riches for themselves. I want you to tell me one thing that you are currently gaining from their rule in Nigeria up to date and how it has affected your life for good. Here is someone in Pastor Chris who has a heart of a Father for you all, and is ready to even die for you so that you would receive that which is duly yours when He becomes President, and you are fighting against his good will for. The scriptures say; "...Oh Jerusalem, how i have desire to gather you under my wings..." so i can protect you and to provide for you, but you would not come for you desire a life of death and poverty. Here is a man that who through the years He has proved Himself as a man that you can trust, with everyone in Nigeria knowing how he started as someone who know not God, and then how he gave his life to the Lord, how he grew among you all, the things he did all his life and as a Pastor and how he got married. Every single aspect of His life was not hidden from you. And he come to you who knows him as a man that you can trust to bring you all that you desire as Nigeria, but you are rejecting him and saying that he is a Pastor. It is only a one who has being a Pastor and leader of people that you can see that there is result for good, that can truly be a President of ths Nation and you would be proud of. Every single one of the others seeking to be President have no desire for you and your children to come, they don't have any good thoughts about you, and don't want to do anything that will help you succeed in life and you are supporting them and singing their praise. I sorry for you all.

When you look at God's desire for man, He always seeks to give man the best but man always rejects that which God is giving them, like you are doing now, is it a crime to be a Pastor and also be a President? David in the Bible was a Shephard, a King, a Priest at the same time in his own days and he ruled Isreal. What you need to know is that it is the make of any leader that you place as your President that will be revealed in the people of the nation and in the life of the people. Look at all the leader and President that have ruled Nigeria up to date, as they are so has Nigerian been, just as their evil and corrupt lifestyle have been so it is reveal in the life of the nation Nigeria. Just as they are corrupt in every way, so is the people too, just as they are deceiving and being deveiced so is the people and the nation, etc, so would you continually want bad and corrupt leaders to rule over you and transfer corruption and bad lifestyle on your children to come. Do not see that they have created a condition that controls every nigerian backward? They have made possible for our young ladies, sister, and wives to be go into prostitution with them cos they have made themselves rich with our resources thereby deceiving and making them come to them to get money while they sexually take undue advantage of them. Look at the nation Nigeria, you will find that from our schools and universities, girls leave school to go and meet these men for cash and money and you can't blame them, for these leaders have made it impossible for them to get money easily and else where, they have made it impossible for their parents to generate money to take care of their children, by not paying salaries as when due, by not providing lighting all over the nation, etc. Now a man in Pastor Chris Okotie has come to turn all these things around to favour you and you are saying all these negative things about him. Wow! where is your sense of fairness and decency? Do you like you backwardness more than going forward. Why do you prefer the scrums of bread that would not fill your belly then the big size loaf of bread that he is bringing for you?

Make sure that the man you chose to be king is the one whom the Lord has chosen. HE MUST BE ONE OF YOUR OWN PEOPLE; ... THE KING OR PRESIDENT IS NOT TO HAVE A LAGE NUMBER OF HORSES FOR HIS ARMY, AND HE IS NOT TO SEND PEOPLE TO EGYPT TO BUY HORSES,... THE KING OR PRESIDENT IS NOT TO HAVE MANY WIVES, ... AND HE IS NOT TO MAKE HIMSELF RICH WITH SILVER AND GOLD... When you look at all the past and present leader and those seeking to be President now, they are all disqualied by God, but you are seeking them and rejecting what God is giving you as a your President. What we Analyzed is his possibilities, of which we all know how elections is being ruined in Nigeria.But then i still commend you for crying out loud. Bros,from the Bible principles,apart from Samuel of which the Israelite rejected him. No King of Israel was from the Priest lineage,they were either leaders or advisers.David, like you mentioned was a shepherd until he killed Goliath of Gath, became a king.He sometimes offered sacrifice to God before or after war.but ordained Priests are always in the house of the lord for God assigned them that duty.

I love your presentation, but full time Ministers of God, have got more important work to do than being a Nigerian President. If God remains the same,if the Lord,our Saviour has not changed;if the Holy Spirit,working in ministers,is still the same, and if ministers are still ministers of the 1st Century type,then the spreading of the Gospel should continue as it was in the Early Church. Remember the most important work Late Mr. William Gladstone did at no 10 Downing Street, London which he sealed up with "I am the happiest man in London,today! i think for Nigeria to grow we need men who are capable to ruke the nation, not to look at people as if there are irrelevant in this country. we complain NIgerian is not growing to our expectation a forget that the people we need are those like Chrise Okotie. when will our eyes open in Nigeria to know that Nigeria is tired of OLD MEN WHO CANNOT BE ABLE TO RULE BECAUSE OF AGE? people who are suppose to retire for younger generations to come. come 2011, CHRISE OKOTIE should be our Brrack Obama of America because this is our own promise land
