One of the actors hit by this new rules in handsome Ghanaian Actor Van Vicker whos claim to fame is Nollywood movies.the actor according to sources is presently quickly shooting all the Nollywood movies he has been paid to interprete before the fees become effective. What this means is that if Van has to pay this 2k dollars amount before he can shoot movies,he will increase his fees and if he does this,producers will begin to look inward at local talents and use them! This is defintely the begining of good things for Nollywood!

I don't understand why Ghana and Nigeria fight. Here in Addis we think all movies are Nigerian. We love Nigerian movies and is getting big here. I noticed some Ghana movies but people I know here, no offense , treat it all as Nigerian films since they have large selections. I love Ghana football by the way. My fav African team! So please you guys don't fight over nonsense. Regardless we enjoy films coming from both Nigeria/Ghana. I wish Nigeria and Ghana film industries hire actors from East Africa too to ad more flavor. I don't understand why Ghana and Nigeria fight. Here in Addis we think all movies are Nigerian. We love Nigerian movies and is getting big here. I noticed some Ghana movies but people I know here, no offense , treat it all as Nigerian films since they have large selections. I love Ghana football by the way. My fav African team! So please you guys don't fight over nonsense. Regardless we enjoy films coming from both Nigeria/Ghana. I wish Nigeria and Ghana film industries hire actors from East Africa too to ad more flavor. We have beautiful people of all shades and shapes. One Africa peace!

Pl, pl stop this trading of insults and hatred immediately. I agree with the guy from Ethiopia -Ghanians and Nigerians teaming up is a brilliant idea for wordwide movie sales and love and bonding between the 2 countries. Do not hate god's creation or you will not go to heaven. We have no control as to where we are born-stop it, stop it now and say nice things and be respectful to one another. Do not risk punishment from god for hate, malice,grudges, jealousy.
