Ini Edo appeared to have some difficulty with the interview. My guess is that she did not make an adequate preparation for it. For example, when she innocently, or naively, offered the information that her dad was not happy about how she travelled long distances away from home for auditions, she did not realise that such information would immediately invite embarrassing questions about her age at the time, and about how it was reported that she was allegedly exploited to secure movie roles. Her responses to those embarassing questions were sometimes clever,sometimes half-baked, and sometimes unconvincing. However, since this kind of interview was probably a new experience for her at the time, I think that on the whole, she performed very well in the interview.

The senior interviewer is simply a genius, a natural, and a master of her craft. I think she is born to interview. She is witty, intelligent, and probably highly experienced. I love her occasional giggles which could calm the nerves of any interviewee. She is fun to watch, and is possibly Nigeria's answer to Barbara Walters of the United States.

The junior interviewer did well too, but was a wee bit “undiplomatic” in the way she introduced exploitation of actresses in the industry, using Ini Edo as an example. I think both Ini Edo and the Senior Interviewer looked unsettled in the video when the junior interviewer made that particular intervention.

If I were an actress, I will always opt for the off-camera interview format of NFC. It is far less risky. It will give me the opportunity to tell as many lies as possible about myself, and at the same time have the chance to make corrections to my responses before they are published. Anyway, I'm just kidding since I don't know how NFC interviews are conducted, but you sure get my drift.
