Super-duper Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji was a while ago in Los Angelis, USA to shoot an ad campaign for MUD cosmetics which she is an ambassador for.
We are glad because the pictures would soon be unveiled soon and while we await that, the video containing clips of the shoot is out and our darling looks breathtaking.
According to the MUD team ““Recently we were honored to team up with Bellezza Cosmetics and Spa, our retail partner in Nigeria, to do a photo shoot at our headquarters in Los Angeles with the very talented and beautiful Nollywood actress and model, Genevieve Nnaji.An immensely popular beauty icon and the only Nigerian actress to ever be profiled on Oprah, Genevieve has been the recipient of many awards throughout her career“.
From what we see in the video, it looks like an incredible shoot and we cant wait to see the end result.

While some people are here busy writing r*****h , Genevieve is riding high and enjoying herself, all over the world. She is so busy doing that and moving in the right influential circles with top people who matter in Europe and the US that she is not even aware that some people are bellying aching over her matter ! I have just seen the video of this Mud Cosmetics featuring Genevieve . As usual ,in it she was ummph! and umwhamm! She has made Nigeria proud. She is simply , gorgeous and her international profile is growing in leaps and bounds. This year is indeed Genevieve's year. This big-bucks Mud endorsement and other big modelling deals which Genevieve is doing right now in the US and elsewhere; will open more doors for even greater lucrative contracts for Genevieve in the US, Canada and Europe. Whether she is married or not , Gene is on top. What she has achieved , no husband can do that for her in her life. She has made it and she is doing well, even without a husband. So what is the big deal and all this talk about marriage for her? The married women are not all that good and she is far better placed than them because unlike them , Genevieve can survive and remain secured in life , without a husband! No man can bluff her. If these married women lose their husbands today , they are finished for life! Some married women are NOTHING without a husband. This is shameful!

nada and her "happily married women" group : Why don't you write "I am a happily married woman!" boldly on your forehead and then don't pay your rent for 6 months or your children's school fees? Or you happy and big "Madam Mrs" , try go shopping for a house, car, food and clothes in the market and instead of paying money ,tell the sellers there that you a respectable married woman; and show them your ring and " Mrs" title ! Then wait and see what would happen to you .
If Genevieve dies without a husband , it is not a curse or a sin as you people think ! It doesn't remove anything from her. She would still be who she is. Marriage is not a passport to heaven and there are no marriages in heaven. Jesus Christ and St Paul were never married ! No woman is happy without a husband ? Says who ? This very wrong and utter r*****h talk by lazy women who have achieved nothing in their lives! It is this type of fallacy which makes young girls rush into marriages with all sorts of unsuitable men only for them to be unhappy and to regret their marriages for life. It is even the married women who are most unhappy women in the society ,nowadays. Which man and crown are they wearing ? Crown of sorrow or of joy? How many husbands are real "men" What is wealth without a man or crown? What is marriage without the crown of wealth and security? Genevieve has the crown of financial security to sustain her for life. This is more permanent than any husband . A husband and marriage cannot be described as permanent security for any woman. A husband for Genevieve would just be "jara!"

Linda and others here are not wishing for Genevieve not to marry , for life. The point is , if Genevieve marries , good; if she doesn't marry , good , as well! She is very complete , married or not. It is false to say a woman is incomplete , sad ,unhappy and she is regretting because she is not married!Or to say single women are "nothing" ! If a woman is unhappy in secret because she is not married ; it will show on her face even if she tries to hide her unhappiness and regrets with smiles in public! Genevieve does not look secretly unhappy ! She looks good ; glowing and looking very pretty and fresh for her age; even without make-up! I was informed that many men , from all over the world , are wishing to get close to Gene and many are asking her to marry them! How many married women of the same age with Genevieve look as good as her? If you watch married women you would notice that 5 years after their wedding , most of them would be looking 10 years older than their real age! Why? Is this how "happy and secured" married women should look?
So what if she was profiled on Oprah? It's things like these that make her think she is on top of the world and forget to focus on important things like getting a man and settle down. As for her being face of africa, that is bull!! I agree with nada and others Jenevieve needs to prioritize. She is beautiful I agree but she is too old to be even dating she should be someone's mother or even grandmother since things are fast these days.

maybe you think because you are married and so you are some big deal! We shall see ! may you have a husband and a so-called "crown" but have no money , no achievements and no fame to fall back on, in your entire life. Say AMEN! you will put that your husband , crown and (if you have any!)your marriage cert and rings in a pot , add water , cook them and be feeding on them for the rest of your life , after that husband you are depending on has dumped you! Marriage: The reason why we marry is for security to have someone to feed and cloth you and your children. Tell other reason.
Gen is loved by many. Have her own money to feed herself and family so why rushing into marriage. Take your time baby and do it when you feell the time is ripe.

If you as a woman , are depending on any man or husband for happiness or security, disappointment and great sorrow awaits you in life! Husbands can die or ditch you for other women , at any time; but what you can achievement for yourself is yours for ever. No body, man or woman can take that from you ! What Genevieve is doing now , that is working hard to build a sound future for herself ; is the best thing any woman can do for herself. If she decides to marry in future, excellent. If any of these married women who have not achieved anything in their lives; not even one hundredth of what Gene has ; think they have a "crown and respect" which Gene does not have ; let them try it and go and stand with their husbands at the gate of their State Governor's office , and demand entry there. Then let Genevieve Nnaji too , stand beside them, alone , without a husband . Who do you think will be respected and honoured and be allowed to enter to see the Governor , first? It is Genevieve , a single mother , with great achievements ,who has made Nigeria very proud ! Genevieve would be recognised and accorded full respect and honour by people working there and be allowed to enter to see the Governor before any unknown " happily married" woman and her husband! Genevieve would enter ,even spend one hour with the Governor , come out and leave in style ; while the "Mr. & Mrs" would still be waiting and praying to be allowed audience. After a long wait,Mr. and Mrs could be told; "Sorry , you cannot see His Excellency today ; he is at a meeting. Come back next week " Ouch! Where is the respect and crown ? As a woman , your position and personal achievements and not your marriage will surely, open doors for you in life , on a permanent basis! Some women like to wear their husbands' rank and parade up and down , making noise as "First lady"! What happens to such women when their husbands are no longer in that position?

Maybe Genevieve wants to or does not want to get married. It is her right to choose what she feels is the best option for her life. Not for others to tell her what they think is the best thing for her to do! If marriage is the ultimate for some women , it is not so for millions of women. Some women DO NOT desire marriage. Period ! They are single but not sorry , sad , lonely or searching for a husband, desperately ; as some people think! Such women are happy without a husband and they derive their satisfaction and fulfilment from their profession , business and their children. Why is this so difficult for certain people to accept people's choice of lifestyle ? People do not have to live their lives based on what OTHERS say or think about how they should live!
