MAJID, GENEVIEVE DAZZLE IN BURSTING OUT

Nigerian screen diva, Genevieve Nnaji and famous Ghanaian actor, Majid Michael are at it again as they put up stellar performances in the yet-to-be premiered Royal Arts Academy Production’s flick, Bursting Out. The duo whose last feature together was in the movie Silent Scandal where they were the lead actors play the leading roles in Bursting Out which will premiere on August 8, 2010. Bursting Out is a romantic comedy which humorously shows the expectations of the Nigerian society on the single career woman. Zara’s friends share these societal views and force Zara through a series of dates in a bid to marry her off. Zara isn’t swayed by any of the men and insists that she’s happy alone. But is she really?

Bursting Out is produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot and Daniel Ademinokan. The premiere of Bursting out on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Silverbird Galleria, Lagos will be done alongside another Royal Arts Academy Production master piece, Holding Hope. The story was written by Uche Jombo, Emem Isong, and Uduak Uguamanam. With impressive cast such as Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Nadia Buhari, Biola Williams, Ngozi Nwosu, Rukky Sanda and many others, we just have to hold our hopes on this one. Speaking on the movie, Bursting Out, Uche Jombo said “we want to make people cry, laugh and perhaps pause and think at the same time. It’s a movie that we intend and want people to see in the cinema, and be moved by it, cry about it, and at the same time, laugh. Really, life is too short, as there are things you can change in life, but there are also things you cannot change.’ The trio, Emem Isong, Desmond Elliot and Uche Jombo, the brains behind Bursting Out, are set to out-do their first outing and prove to all and sundry that the success of their first outing was not a stroke of luck.

Nadia STORMS Nigeria

Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buhari will this weekend storm Nigeria for the premiere of Bursting Out and Holding Hope. Nadia, the face of Devon whose last appearance in Nigeria was before the $2000 slam on foreign actors and actresses is expected in the country to grace the premiere and also be one of the actresses to be on the red carpet. Nadia who stars in Holding Hope alongside popular Nigerian actors like Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Biola Williams, Ngozi Nwosu, Rukky Sanda played a lead role in the movie which narrates the story of Mrs.Badmus and her wayward son, Sidney; for Sidney to inherit the wealth of his mother who is dying of cancer, Sidney must cross an uneasy stumbling block. The movie springs complexity out of a not complicated plot. The story was written by Uche Jombo, Emem Isong, and Uduak Uguamanam.

On Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Silverbird Galleria in Lagos, it will be reunion time for Nigerian and Ghanaian actors and actresses as the two movie industry will be reunited on the red carpet for the premiere of Holding Hope and Bursting Out. Since the $2000 slam on foreign actors, this is the first time actors and actresses from both countries will be meeting. Expected at the premiere are Nigerian stars like Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Omoni Oboli. Nadia Buhari, the face of Devon whose last visit to Nigeria was before the $2000 slam will this weekend storm the Silverbird Galleria for the event. Nadia who stars in Holding Hope alongside popular Nigerian actors like Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Biola Williams, Ngozi Nwosu, Rukky Sanda played a lead role. The story was written by Uche Jombo, Emem Isong, and Uduak Uguamanam. In a related development, Majid Michael will also be expected in Nigeria on Sunday, August 8 at the same event. Majid who also featured in another Royal Arts Academy Production movie, Bursting Out will be gracing the venue of the premiere of both movies. Produced by Emem Isong and directed by Desmond Elliot and Daniel Ademinokan, Bursting Out stars Genevieve Nnaji and Majid Michael.

Holding Hope and Bursting Out will premiere on Sunday, August 8, 2010 before doing rounds at ‘community cinema houses’ across the country

Please stop this r*****h !
I hope this will be the very last time Nigerians will do any joint films or projects with Ghanaians!
Genevieve Nnaji and others in Nollywood , for their own good, should desist from this act of doing films with Ghanaians, because their fans in Nigeria do not like it , one bit!
Please feel the pulse of the nation and you will realise that Nigerians are unhappy with the presence of Ghanaians in Nollywood films ; after all that has been happening in recent times.
We do not want to see any Ghanaian acting in Nollywood films ever again!
I personally hate Ghanaians for their ingratitude !
Any Nigerian actor or actress , marketer or producer who fails to desist from such joint film productions either on Nigerian soil or in Ghana will have themselves to blame when they start to experience a backlash of anger and attacks from Nigerians!
If you think this is a joke , then continue!

Desmond you're a big f**l
Moi | 8/5/2010 1:56:17 AM |
Desmond or whatever nonsense name you answer to, you will soon die of hypertension. Who the hell are you to personally hate Ghanaians for any reason. There is nothing an aimless i***t like you can do.When the movie comes out, you can choose to watch it or just keep your eyes and mouth shut!

Since you are jobless and have nothing important to do, i suggest you use the time on your hand to go to church and have a miraculous pastor pray for you. At lease he will be able to bind all the spirit of hatred, jealousy, anger, frustration and the desire to die young from High Blood Pressure.

Moreover, how can you use your filthy mouth to say you will attack your fellow Nigerians. It is only a f**l like you who will publicly show hatred for his own brother. Animal.
Moi , d b*****d !
Lenny | 8/5/2010 12:54:23 PM |
Shameless animal ! You are here again as a paid agent to defend Ghana on this website and you are not succeeding , as usual!
The next thing you will do now is to post comments here supporting Ghana and condemning Nigerians ; by pretending and using Nigerian , South African , American , Zimbabwean and Ivorien names!
Like black devils ( stars? LMHO!), this you have been doing on this website , to cause quarrels between Nigerians and to divert our comments from attacking Ghana to other Africans .We know your dirty tricks from the land of black devils of Africa! You have failed and we will continue to attack you here!

You are an ugly goat like all Ghanaians are!
Goats refuse to budge , even when they are beaten and chased off ; they will still return to steal even if they died trying to do so!
Apart from being goats , you are b*****ds and we know that the worst mistake anyone can make is to bring in and welcome b*****ds into their family!
Always ,whatever good thing you do to help and support b*****ds; they will repay that family with ingratitude ; stabbing them in the back!

Is it by force that Nigeria and Ghana are linked?
We agree that Nigerians have made the mistakes of welcoming Ghanaians with open hands into Nollywood and into our country !
Ghanaian are every where. Working even in our oil industry.
We have now realised our mistakes and f*****hness and we are saying NO MORE!
It is not only on this website , but all over Nigeria and all over the world ; if you ask 9 out of 10 Nigerians today , they would tell you that they hate Ghanaians and want Nigeria to severe all links with them , for good!
So,once again,Nigerians are saying GHANA MUST GO !
Ghanaians have shown us that they are first class animals and devilish ingrates and we do not want to associate with such animalistic elements for anything , ever again!
Whether you like it or not and even if you come here to insult Nigerians 1000 times; we say NO MORE and it is no more! Enough is Enough.
It is either Ghanaians go away from us peacefully and stay away or we will show you the door, and keep them out violently !
When Nigerians start with you , I assure you that you will run and keep running!
You cannot continue to use our beautiful stars like Genevieve and others to promote and polish up Ghanaian stars and your own film industry!
Let Ghana and Nigeria go their separate ways and THEN LET US SEE WHO WILL SUFFER!
This is happening already and it will continue to happen until we flush out every Ghanaian from our country!
Nigeria does not need evil foreigners like these for any reason.
Ghana is not even our immediate neighbour in Africa . Togo and Benin Republic stand between us.
So what is the connection between us and you ?
The Nollywood stars who should watch it and stop this unnecessary nonsense of acting with Ghanaians are Genevieve , Jim Ikye , Rita Dominic, Desmond Elliot, Ngozi Ezeonu , Omotola ,Stella Damasus, Tonto Dike, Oge Okoye and others. Why should these beautiful and handsome Nollywood stars allow themselves to be used like this to prop up and polish Ghanaian stars and their film industry? Afterall , these stars do not need Ghana and Ghanaians for anything !
They are not b*****ds but true born Nigerians and no true Nigerian should continue to cooperate with enemies of our great nation, for whatever reasons!

You are sick and need serious help immediately. What's the matter with you??????????? You are an i***t and all the things you said are pointless. You really need help.
BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHERS
Moi | 8/6/2010 12:01:55 AM |
Lenny, you are just as s****d and as brainless as your counterpart Desmond. No wonder you sheepishly jumped to his rescue by attacking me.Since you actually had time to type all this r*****h here, i will suggest you join Desmond in church for exorcism.

If you really want to know the definition of what ugly is, take a look at the mirror again you son of a "district 9 alien".

All that you have typed here is complete nonsense coming from a complete i***t and so i would not worry myself trying to pump some sense into your empty calabash head.Because if i try to educate and talk to you till the end of time, you will still remain dumb at the end of the day so why bother.

All i want to tell you in simple layman terms is that all these actor and actresses acting together( both Nigeria and Ghana) are doing so out of their own free will. Not a single one of them is being forced or threatened to act or collaborate. So you can rant from morning till evening, it wont change a damn thing. Nobody even knows that an i***t like you exist...LMAO

If you keep on like this as Desmond is doing, both of you will end up with an acute stress condition which could be fatal. And what would be your use then, you will be bedridden and continue to watch these collaborated movies from your sick bed.

Like you said "its not byforce Ghana and Nigeria are linked by acting" but i will still tell you that there is not a damn thing you LENNY can do about it.

Animals Gallery!
Desmond | 8/6/2010 1:43:08 AM |
Whao ! Lenny , my brother you said it all !
You have made my day! Thanks , bro.
What else can I add to drive the message into the thick skulls of these animals called Ghanaians that Nigerians consider them as VERMIN ?
Nothing much to say here.
Vermin are irritating and disgusting pests.
Eradicate vermin by massive fumigation and flushing out !

Ghanaians need urgent deliverance from the demons which have made them exhibit their hatred and envy against Nigerians every where they see us on planet earth , for many decades now.
Ghanaian are notorious for being copy-cats, destroyers of anything good and beautiful and being enemies of progress of not only Nigerians but even of themselves!
So the evils of hatred , envy, stealing , copying Nigerians, ingratitude , lying and character assassination is not found only in these b*****d Ghanaians talking r*****h here on this forum but in majority of Ghanaians.
That is why millions of Nigerians and I HATE GHANAIANS and we are insisting that we do not want them in our midst or near us any more!
Their presence is poisonous !

The sad fact is that Ghanaians need urgent and serious deliverance ; but they do not even have any credible church ministers to conduct urgent deliverance for them because these evils in their lives have even extended into Ghanaian churches where they envy and fight each other !
Ghanaian church ministers also are guilty of envying ,hating , copying and stealing ideas and money from Nigerian church ministers!
So who will deliver these black devils called Ghanaians, from the yokes of Satan on their necks?
Except God in his ifinite mercy!

For Nigerians to be free of these wicked devils called Ghanaians , the wisest thing to do is to give everyone of them A VERY WIDE BERTH , wherever you see Ghanaians , any where in the world.
Avoid them like vermin and the plague !
Every f*****h Nigerian who fails to heed this warning , would regret bitterly!
Already, Ghanaians are showing their true colour and dealing with such i***tic Nigerians who continue to dine with these devils .
I REPEAT , more problems from fellow Nigerians await such unpatriotic Nigerians who are cooperating with the enemy of Nigeria!
we are all africans

Because we are always protective of all Africans in every part of the word and you can never heard of any Ghanaian being maltreated or discriminates upon even in Nigeria. It's only the illiterates and the poor Ghanaians that are fun of callin us dirty names.

A police station was nearly burnt in Ogun state few months ago in solidarity with a Ghanaian who was mistakenly shot by a policeman if not for intervention of the state police commissioner

Jonathan | 8/10/2010 1:34:08 PM |
I blame NFC for all this hating comments and verbal feud between Ghanaians and Nigerians...Words are powerful and can easily cause a big rift between the two countries.....But it is all NFC's fault...NFC is a disgrace to Media professionalism

If NFC reporters had not started disseminating false reports and non-empirical stories about Ghanaian actors and producers, all this wouldn't be happening...Even if those stories were true, NFC should have envisaged the consequences it may have on the reading public...Journalism is a profession that is handled with responsibility and care.......NFC has lit a very dangerous fire between the two and now it may explode in their faces...I don tire for this site oo....I won't come here again...I will look for a site that promotes healthy debates, intellectual stories and peaceful co-existence...I am out of here.

The truth has been spoken on this forum by people who understand the reality. Nigerians, stop transferring your wealth, knowledge and skill. Ghanaians despise you yet they copy you. Why must you like them, ungrateful people.

s****d Yaw, how can you compare your classless actresses with Genevieve? Who schooled them? Genevieve is an world class icon, highly rated. Ghanaians are hating Nigerians out of jealousy. Nigerian producers and directors must think twice about their so-called collaboration with Ghana. They learn from Nigerians daily, yet, will not acknowledge and show gratitude...dumb people. They once called Nigerian movies "crap" and crap they troop into Nigeria in their droves to get acting job.

Nigerian producers must stop their s****dity now and understand that you are dealing with a disguised enemy, posterity shall prove this and had i known always come late!

Ghanaians are armed robbers !
Tony | 8/6/2010 11:17:59 PM
We are not surprised at the thieving , ungrateful b*****ds called Ghanaians!

This ia a recent news report from Ghanaweb!

**Ghana is facing a national crisis. There have been regular reports of armed rampage in the nation but so far, the president has not recognized it as a developing national crisis, nor the need to address the issue publicly.

Armed robbers killed a British national, Mr. John Garett at his residence at Lateh-Akuapem. Armed robbers murdered Italian national, Mr. Roberto Massimo, Managing director of BRM Wood Processing Company at his North Ola residence in Cape Coast. Armed robbers killed a cargo truck driver, Mr. Alhaji Asshaqu Ibrahim when they attacked traders at Babatokuma, near Kintampo. But it was not the right moment for the president to speak on the matter.

Armed robbers killed a Ghanaian who had traveled to Ghana for the Homecoming Summit. In between, there have been reports of armed robbers taking over a whole community at gunpoint, but Mr. Kuffour probably explained to his visiting dignitaries that it was just an isolated incident. Armed robbers are mounting roadblocks at will and extorting money from market women at gunpoint, but that too is not a threat to the national economy. Mr. Chester Dzisah and his 12-year old Chester Dzisah, Jnr. were murdered in an attempt to assist a neighbor (Pastor Owusu Ansah and his family) who was in being attacked; several pastors have also been attacked including Reverend Robert Dawson-Amoah, Ayofui Anglican Church who was shot in the thigh, and Reverend Bennet Abaka-Wilson, Saltpond Methodist Church but Mr. Kuffour does not see this menace as a threat to national security.
In October 2002, Nana Amoo (Pozzo) also died at the hands armed robbers, but that incident was a part of trend, which befalls nations that are developing economically.
Then in November, Mr. Stephen Mintah, a father of eight was shot twice in the head because the poor driver could only find 8,000 ($1) for the armed robbers who had invaded his home. Still Mr. Kuffour does not see a national emergency in this unfortunate trend. This list is but just a few of the ones that registered in the national headlines. Many others, like Nana Yaw Acheampong (Owuahene), a cousin of this writer who was fatally assaulted at Nadieso, near Nkawkaw was not covered by any news media.
Shame on Ghana !

You don't have to CONDESCEND to exchange words with these b*****ds here!
Just give them the s**t they deserve on this website , as I enjoy doing , without giving them the honour of an exchange of banter!
Piglets are far better than the offsprings of Ghanaian w***es who do not know who their fathers are ; so they all bear their mother's surnames.
Ugly accent and history !

For maximum entertainment and if you want to fall down laughing , rolling on the floor;, line up Ghanaians and ask them to do 2 things.
First , ask them to state the REAL identity of their fathers; i.e. his names , home addresses and nationality !
The look of confusion on their faces would amuse you , so much!
Some Ghanaians would be speechless and even very angry that you asked such a question!
Most Ghanaian do not know these answers , so they bear their mothers' surnames and nationality!
Secondly, ask Ghanaians to pronounce the words; " father , (faard-air) , mother (meerd-air), sister (seest-air) , brother ( brad-air ). nineeteen ( naiy - tain), sixteen ( seext-ain) !
The words in brackets are the funny and ugly Ghanaian accents for these words.
Many other words are "massacred" by Ghanaians in their efforts to speak what they call "English".
As far as accents and family history are concerned ; Ghanaians are ZERO and we Nigerians consider them as objects of ridicule and shame !!

Ghanaians are armed robbers !
Tony | 8/6/2010 11:21:08 PM

Ghanaians are suicide bombers!
Tony | 8/6/2010 11:21:49 PM
Ghanaians are shameless lying b*****ds!
This is a BBC News report about the Ghanaian murderer who tried to blow up the London Underground , on 21st July 2005.
As usual , being a devilish Ghanaian , the b*****d tried to lie and deny the whole thing!
Read this:
***
A man accused of being the fifth bomber on 21 July 2005 has admitted conspiracy to cause explosions. Manfo Kwaku Asiedu portrayed himself as a reluctant bomber.
Manfo Kwaku Asiedu is probably the most enigmatic of the 21 July defendants - the man who tried a desperate "cut-throat" defence but ultimately admitted his guilt, all be it to a lesser degree than the four other bombers.
Asiedu presented himself in the dock as a man under the psychological control of Muktar Ibrahim - and a man who did not want to blow himself up.
He abandoned his device on the morning of the attacks, leaving the explosives to be found by a park-keeper - but his account of the final days was as murky as his entire life story.
Back in Ghana, the 21 July bomber had been brought up a Muslim in what appears to have been a well-to-do family. He had studied to the equivalent of A-level standard and went into the agriculture business with his family.

On reaching the UK he sought out local mosques where he could pray and also help with voluntary work. One of the first mosques he visited was Finchley, also frequented by co-defendant Yassin Omar.Among his friends from the mosque - and among the defendants - he was known as Ismail.

But prosecutors Nigel Sweeney QC and Max Hill said Asiedu's story was not to be trusted.
"Asiedu waited until the end of the Crown's evidence before revealing what he now says is his truthful account as to the real suicide and murder plot," said Mr Hill.
"He was content to sit and wait through week after week of prosecution evidence, seeing, you may think, whether the case did indeed stand up.
"They are desperate men and desperate men will do anything if they perceive it to be in their own interest."
Very correct ! b*****d Ghanaians are first class desperate liars.

33 yrs for Ghanaian bomber

Manfo Asiedu , the Ghanaian suicide bomber is a criminal and murderer who tried to lie his way out of his guilt. But he got a whooping 33 years sentence which is even far less than this criminal Ghanaian deserved!!

Like ALL Ghanaians do , Asiedu tried to heap all the blame on his co- bombers ,the other four accused men but Asiedu , the coward and liar , failed woefully!
*****
Four men are found guilty of plotting to bomb London's transport network on 21 July, 2005, two weeks after the 7/7 bombings (see July 21, 2005).
After a six-month trial, the jury unanimously convicts Muktar Ibrahim, Yassin Omar, Ramzi Mohammed, and Hussain Osman, of conspiracy to murder. The four are sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum sentence of 40 years. Evidence included thousands of hours of CCTV film, as well as a suicide note left by Mohammed for his girlfriend and two children asking them to “rejoice in happiness.”
The men had also been monitored attending a militant training camp in the Lake District in 2004 (see May 2-August 2004).

[BBC, 7/11/2007] Shortly before the retrial is to begin, Asiedu pleads guilty and is sentenced to 33 years in prison, while Yahya pleads guilty to a lesser charge of possessing terrorist information and is sentenced to seven years in prison. [LONDON TIMES, 11/5/2007; DAILY TELEGRAPH, 11/21/2007] The defendants claim that the bombs were fakes and that the plot was a protest against the war in Iraq. Prosecutor Nigel Sweeney tells the jury that the plot “had been in existence long before the events of July 7” and was not a “hastily-arranged copycat” operation. Responding to the defense, Sweeney says: “The failure of those bombs to explode owed nothing to the intention of these defendants, rather it was simply the good fortune of the traveling public that day that they were spared.” [BBC, 7/10/2007] The judge, Justice Adrian Fulford, also dismisses the suggestion that the men did not intend to cause carnage. He says, “This was a viable and a very nearly successful attempt at mass murder.” [BBC, 7/11/2007]

Ghanaians need deliverance !
Tony | 8/6/2010 11:46:59 PM
Even inside their churches in Ghana , they are WICKED , showing no love and no peace to each other!
The Ghanaian National DEVILISH character manifests , strongly , all over !
They always fight and tear each other apart because of their wickedness and devilish competition ! This they do to both their fellow Ghanaians and to foreigners!
Many Nigerian pastors in Ghana have lost their churches to their Ghanaian members who ganged up against them and drove the pastors from the churches , calling them " foreigners who have come to set up churches in Ghana !"
This is the wickedness of Ghanaians which they hide until they see that the Nigerian pastors' churches have grown into membership of thousands and they must have built big and beautiful churches. Then the Ghanaian devils within the churches would attack them and send them away , empty-handed !!

This shameful and wicked attack happened in a Ghanaian church , recently!
THIS IS "PEACEFUL GHANA" , for you !
300 Members Flee For Dear Life Over 300 members of the Saviour Church of Ghana have been forced to flee their homes, for fear of their lives following alleged attacks by a faction of the church as a result of a split in the hierarchy.

The refugees, comprising 91 children and 221 adults led by Elias Asirifie, have fled from the Osiem branch of the church in the Eastern Region and other branches, to Gomoa Nyanyanor in the Central Region.
The Chronicle has learnt that the division had been raging for the past three years and the victims had been compelled to live at Nyanyano from their original homes since then.
They do not have any shelter besides the local mission house. The majority of them therefore sleep under trees adjoining the house. There is no potable water in the town, and they have only one water tank, which is filled once a week by when members of their church from other branches come for worship. Apart from this, they rely on water from ponds.
Many of the members who are farmers have no access to land and therefore have no reliable source of livelihood. As a result, their children have not been attending school.
On hearing of the plight of the refugees, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), last weekend, donated relief items including rice, cooking oil, tents and blanket worth ¢30 million to them.
Alhaji Suleimana Yerimea, Head of Relief and Reconstruction, said NADMO, initially, saw the problem as a religious conflict and not a disaster, adding that this explained why it took such a long time to intervene.
He said it was only two weeks ago that NADMO got news of the conditions they were living in and when its officials got there and saw their plight, especially the women and children, it was decided to help them on humanitarian grounds.
Alhaji Yerimea, however, warned them that the government could not continue to look after them indefinitely and therefore urged the two factions to find a solution to the problem as quickly as possible.
An elder of the church told The Chronicle that the problems of the church began in 1997 when the founder, Isaac Kojo Asirifie died, and a successor was to be chosen. Power struggle ensued between the son of the founder Elias Asirifie and his nephew Abraham Kweku Asirifie.
The church has been existing with two factions and have been experiencing sporadic eruption of violence in which houses and other properties destroyed allegedly by the faction loyal Abraham Asirifie, forcing Elias and his followers to flee.
According to Elias, several cases of the attacks launched against them had been reported to the police some of them were before the courts

"Democracy " in Ghana!
Tony | 8/7/2010 12:03:07 AM
This news report by Kwame S. Blege , in a Ghanaian newspaper confirms the fake " democracy and peace " which Ghanaians are making noise about !
This further proves that Ghanaians are very deceitful and shameless b*****ds.

** Ethnic conflicts in the Northern Region
The relationship between the various ethnic groups in the Northern Region has not been continuously stable. In particular, conflicts have been smoldering for a long time between the Dagomba on the one hand and the 'nomadic' Konkomba on the other. In the eyes of many among the dominating Dagomba, the Konkomba are landless intruders and bandits, who penetrated into the areas of the Dagomba only in the colonial ages. However, this view of the origins and history of the Konkomba in this region of Ghana is not shared by themselves, and it is not supported by the scientific research on this area, especially not by any academic writing on the Konkomba or Dagomba published before the 1994 conflict. 1994 experienced the worst ethnic conflicts ever in Ghana . The conflict spread to other groups, and ended up with several thousand dead. However, due to the continuous conflict many people have migrated from the region. Besides, there has been a tremendous killing in the region. From the population of 1,820,806 in the region shown in the 2000 census, it has now decreased by about 30%.

TRIBALISM IN GHANA
A Dagbon youth leader Mr Ibrahim Tanko, appealed to politicians to stay away from the conflict. I know this would not be heeded because the politician thinks he knows best.
For lovers of movies; have you ever watched this movie? It is titled “Sometimes In April”. The genocide in Rwanda was acted in this movie and it showed how tribal war turned into national war. The first time I watched this movie I was close to tears. Hatred for each other on tribal basis which was taken for granted resulted in the killing of a president and other top officials who do not belong to the dominant tribe.
We live in Ghana and say that Ghana has gotten to that level where there would be no war. Our heads are swollen like the village boy who happens to be the first to attend university.

Nigeria has been there, Cote d' Ivoire is there and thinking of when to come back, Liberia and Sierra Leone were there and are back.
Natives of the three Northern Regions where are they? I do not feel comfortable when people say things that sound degrading about the Northern Region. Right from morning shows to the drinking beer, to the mosque and the church. Some Ghanaians say things like 'we are tired of them', 'they can continue to kill themselves', 'they are wasting our money' and ' Ghana should even be divided so that they would not be part of us'.
It is sad that even people who do not deserve to insult Northerners are doing so with all the freedom. It is said 'if you make a mouse of yourself the cat will feast on you' No one has the right to look down on other men. We are all born equal whether on hospital beds or behind the bath house on plantain leaves. Did we all not come to this world with bloody umbilical cords? I know that the three Northern Regions has influential men and women who can stand up tall and work hard to bring this problem of conflict in the Northern Region to an end.

'No one points his left finger to his home' is a wise saying which should guide influential natives of the three Northern Regions to stand up tall and bring peace to their native land.
The politicians should come together in finding a lasting solution to the conflict rather than finding fault with each other. The political colouring of the Dagbon and Bawku conflicts will not brighten the future of the Northern Region.
Natives of Dagbon and Bawku rise up and take a clue from the late reggae artiste, Joseph Hill. Joseph Hill says 'TRIBAL WAR CAN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM'

Ghanaians are criminals
Tony | 8/7/2010 11:11:31 AM
The CONSTANT r*****h comments which these Ghanaian b*****ds are writing here, prove that Ghanaians are possessed with the demons of lying and hypocrisy !
Below is a recent news report in a Ghanaian newspaper about frequent armed robberies in Ghana.
* * Ghanaians are currently enduring serious social and economic problems. And to add to their woes, the nation has for the past two years been infested with dangerous armed robbers of all shades. These armed robbers who use sophisticated weapons have become so daring that they operate in broad daylight!
There have been many instances where Ghanaians resident abroad who have returned home for holidays or to invest their monies have been targeted and robbed. A disturbing phenomenon of their activities is carjacking and highway robbery
Armed robbers brazenly snatch cars from their owners, waylay traders on the highways and deprive them of their monies and personal effects. In some cases they even murder their victims in cold blood.
Tourists who bring a lot of foreign exchange to help stimulate the economy have not been spared. There have been several reported attacks of tourists by armed robbers even at their hotels.
The activities of these armed robbers have compelled many Ghanaians to live in fear. It is not uncommon to get a phone call from a friend or a relative lamenting the armed robbery situation in Ghana.
It is therefore gratifying that President Kuffour has appealed to Ghanaians to be vigilant in their communities and expose armed robbers and miscreants to make the work of the police successful.
This blunt statement by the president is an indication of how serious armed robbery is in Ghana today and how the situation is getting out of hand.
This appeal does not go far to address the problem, which keeps expanding daily.

It has been reported several times that most of these armed robbers operate at the Kotoka International Airport. Some of the criminals pose as genuine people who have come to the airport to meet their relatives from abroad.
The situation is so bad that it is a struggle for arriving travelers with luggage to meander through the usual crowd of loiterers, just to exit the gate and join a vehicle. We all know that they just loiter around to know who just arrived in town with a lot of " booty" to facilitate their nefarious activities.
While some passengers have been chased immediately after leaving the airport and robbed on the highway, others have been followed to their houses only to be attacked and robbed late in the night.

Since it is said that the devil finds work for an idle hand, I will appeal to the Kuffour administration to create jobs and adsorb many of the roaming youths that have resorted to armed robbery as a last resort.
The attack on tourists by armed criminals could seriously affect the tourism industry in Ghana. Currently Kenya is going through the same problem as armed robbers pounce on tourists and rob them daily with impunity.
The brazen activities of armed robbers and the lack of adequate security for Ghanaians is also preventing many Ghanaians outside the country from traveling home for holidays. Their refusal to travel home can adversely affect the economy.
We can also talk about investors who would find it very difficult to invest in a country that their officials cannot walk or sleep in the night.

A TAMALE District Magistrate Court has granted GH¢30,000 bail to Richmond Kankam aka Kofi Mensah with two sureties, one to be justified with building documents, to reappear on October 15, 2010.
The suspect will also report every Monday to the investigator until otherwise determined by the court on the next adjournment date.
Kankam, 27, who has made several appearances in court, is facing charges of preparedness to commit robbery contrary to section 19 and 150 of the criminal offences Act after his arrest by Tamale police a couple of weeks ago.
The suspect, an employee of Prudential Bank in Kumasi police say was arrested while allegedly making efforts to recruit and train persons for armed robbery purposes in the city.
Initially he claimed he was a former employee of the bank but after officials identified him he refuted his initial claim.
Though they failed to divulge what he was doing in the north, deep throat sources told DAILY GUIDE the suspect allegedly embezzled several thousands of Ghana Cedis belonging to customers of the bank and has ever since gone into hiding.
Our source disclosed he was a cashier with the bank and that each time clients came to deposit monies he allegedly diverted the cash and later absconded. He was also on the wanted list of the bank.
Soon after his arrest customers started trooping into the Ashanti Regional offices of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to lodge complaints about his scandals that led to the loss of their cash.
It would be recalled that the suspect, a resident of Abuakwa, a Kumasi suburb was arrested with the help of some civilians while supposedly making moves to recruit his applicants.

Briefing the media on the arrest earlier, Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Chief Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh disclosed that the suspect arrived in the region during the early hours of May 19 and checked into Baobab Guest House at Gumani.
He was reported to have met one Emmanuel Yaw Agbemovor, a former employee of the guest house who helped him check in.
Police said he later invited Agbemovor and asked him to assist him get strong brave men to aid him in carrying out an operation in Kumasi but he resisted.
Upon the suspect's insistence however he later obliged and in turn informed his younger brother about the proposal.
Kankam who was satisfied with the number took them through some rigorous training and schooled them on certain technical terms which included “wound” which means “kill” and “vanish” meaning they should bury their victims while on operation.
He was said to have also taken them through handling of knives and other life threatening gadgets and told them the operation was set to take place at Kumasi around 2pm the following day.
According to the chief inspector, their targets were filling stations, banks. They were also set to do some car hijacking including robbing certain prominent rich men in the gardencity.
After completing all the drills they checked out of the hotel and headed towards the state transport yard in a taxi cab where they were expected board a bus en route to Kumasi, the operational venue.
On the way however, the COP instructed that the vehicle drive straight to the Sakasaka police station where Kankam was arrested and placed behind bars.

DAILY GUIDE gathered as at press time that he was yet to meet the bail requirements to enable him enjoy his freedom after nearly two months in detention.

ghanians are no longer what they were before.hey ghanians, there is great moral decadence among you.a CATHOLIC church [name withheld] was recently smeared with feaces in early hour of a sunday morning.the gate of the church was locked by the perprtrators preventing the parishoners of the 7.00 mass from worshipping their GOD.THE parish priest and the assistant were called all sort of derogatory names on the posters pasted on the wall of the church. just when the parishoners came for first mass.this happened last two months.just last week another CATHOLIC church was smeared again with s**t.this time the perpetrators went inside the church and smeared the all the holy items in the church with s**ts and threatened that this is just the beginning.THIS just happened in the KUMASI Archdiocese.WHAT IS THE REASON FOR THESE TWO INCIDENTS.GREED GREED GREED.TUFIAKWA.information gathered after the first incident revealed that those parishoners that did this were protesting against the archbishop of ACCRA.ask me whatever their grievances were,is this the right way to go about it.This cannot happen in nigeria.i cannot stop thinking why a parishoner who worships in this church will conceive such an inglorious act.Peace loving ghanians must watch out for those who has allowed GREED,PREJUDICE,BIGOTRY, to posses them in GHANA to drive their name to MUD.this is why i am not surprised that some ghanians has taken it upon themselves to hate anything about NIGERIA for no reason.Greed,Hate, prejudice has eaten deep into the fabric of ghanian soceity of late and unless the government do something about this negative trend, ghana will be a laughing stock soon

[LONDON TIMES, 11/5/2007; DAILY TELEGRAPH, 11/21/2007] The defendants claim that the bombs were fakes and that the plot was a protest against the war in Iraq. and what exactly does that make you? A PIG!!!
if you know what is good for you, preach to your Ghanaian brothers and sisters here.
how about you CARRY GO! after all, this is a Nigerian site.
IGNORANCE
NII | 8/10/2010 1:23:17 PM |
If this is a Nigerian site then why is it on the "www"...It should have been exposed to only Nigerians and not to the whole world..It should serve only Nigerians and be blocked to the whole world....This self-centredness has got to cease!!!
NO WAY!
IgboQueen | 8/10/2010 5:06:55 PM |
I DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK! had this been an American site and people were bashing Americans, expect the SAME THING!
its called being NATIONALISTIC! having pride in where you come from.
how dare someone come from another part of the world to insult me and my people? HOW DARE THEY?
not only that, but they insult blindly!
everything they say is right there in their own country and their own people do it, so why talk about Nigeria as if we're the only ones IN THIS WORLD?
they can all drink poison, hug a transformer, or hang themselves for all i care!
IT IS NFC's FAULT
Jonathan | 8/10/2010 1:31:14 PM
