Fast rising singer and rave of the moment, Mr Eazi, yesterday gave fun seekers in Lagos a time of their lives as he delivered the goods in his first ever ‘Life Is Eazi’ concert in Lagos.

The event held at the Landmark Event Centre and the fully packed hall on a night that so called music heavyweights were holding concerts all over the city was a testament to the singer’s arrival in the big leagues. His performance was electrifying as it was energetic and his chemistry with the live band was refreshing in an era where most artistes cheat their audience with lip syncing to their CDs.

He began the show with a number of opening acts, before Falz hit the stage for a well appreciated performance. Falz churned out the best of his singles including ‘Soft work’, ‘Soldier’, ‘Bahd, Baddo, Baddest’, among others. But the star on the night was Mr Eazi, who gave his best, supported by a live band. He ran through all of his songs with his key collaborators Phyno, Reminisce, Mayorkun, and Illbliss coming through with performances.

Born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade in Port Harcourt, Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer based in Ghana since 2007. He signed to Wizkid’s StarBoy Worldwide label in May 2016. Although, he burst onto many Nigerians’ consciousness few months ago, the singer has been massive in his adopted country, Ghana for a while now, featuring some of the famous names in the country including Sarkodie, Efya, and Pappy Kojo.

In 2016, he was controversially excluded from the annual Ghana Music Awards because he’s not a Ghanaian citizen
