Ibinabo Fiberesima, is a Nigerian film actress, ex-beauty pageant and event manager who hails from Rivers state. She is a former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
The actress is set to try her popularity in her local government has she is vying for the position of the Local Government Council chairman of the Okrika LGA of Rivers state.
Ibinabo will now be joining other actors like Kenneth Okonkwo and Yul Edochie to try the wheels of power.
She is contesting under the famous umbrella covering party of PDP, although they are many other Aspirants in the same party. She only needs to win the primaries election of party then surely the seat will be given to her.
Considering the fact that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is the dominant party in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria and it has huge supporters among the Okrika LGA of Rivers State.
She has also released the posters for her campaign, and with the women folks trying to gain the 50-50 power authority with the men well she may emerge the head of council of Okrika or treated to another political appointment by the state government as a commissioner.
