Nigerian comedian an actor Ayo Makun widely known by his stay name AY is one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, but he spent a total of 9 year in university.

AY had spent a total of nine years in the delta state university with reasons due to the death of his parent, and he was left to shoulder the responsibility of the family alone as he was the eldest in the family.

Many may wonder why he spent that number in the university, even when the Nigerian university commission doesn’t approve of such.

“In December 1999 when my dad passed, it was difficult to take over his position as the first son. It became even more difficult when my mum decided to join him in no time. Embracing the responsibilities of taking care of my four sisters and two baby brothers wasn’t the best message to preach to a waiting landlord whose rent must be paid in due time. The combination of being a big brother and father came with a price that kept me in Delta State University for 9 years as a student.” He said.

He recently produced a movie he titles “Yoruba demon” which featured the likes of Falz, Ramsey Noah, Jim Iyke and AY.
