The former catholic reverend father, Father Patrick Edet had to call it quit after serving in the church for 11 years to marry the woman of his dreams.

According to the norms and ethics of the Catholic Church, a reverend father is not allowed to marry, to defile this odds, he opted to quit the church and is position in a branch in Akwa Ibom state.

The priest who said that he had to quit the church as the doctrines are all keeping him in a box revealing that his new path makes him “happy and free” has just gotten married.

Photos from his traditional wedding are now being circulated online with everyone wishing the former priest a happy marriage and bountiful life. Patrick who still likes being referred to as reverend married Inyene Sampson Akpan, a graduate of University of Uyo on March 16, in an intimate culture-exhibiting ceremony held in Akwa Ibom. The couple are set to tie the knot in a white wedding on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
