Chelsea has announced that it will be retaining three Nigerian players ahead of the 2016/2017 season.

 

 The players are John Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Kenneth Omeruo

It was learnt that Mikel who was connected with a move away from Stamford Bridge had featured more under interim manager, Guus Hiddink.

Moses and Omeruo were both on loan at West Ham and Kasimpasa. Other Nigerian players that were retained were Dominic Ayodele Solanke, Ugbo Ike and Tomori Fikayo.
