Nigerian musicians are not smiling as they are currently angry that they do not get royalties as some people have refused to pay them for playing their songs.

They came under the umbrella of the Copy Right Society of Nigeria (COSON) to mark the ‘No Music Day’ in the country which has been a date fixed for every September 8th, by the organization to show respect to the Nigerian artistes.

It’s was a full house at the Ikeja office of COSON, as superstars, legends of the industry, stakeholders and varying creative talents, press officials, among others were present to deliberate on way forward for the Nigerian music industry.

The ‘NO MUSIC DAY’ tends to show the Nigerian public for a few selected hours, what it really feels like to be without music.
