The Kokomaster D’banj has released a new song after his young son’s death, telling his pretty wife, Lineo in the new song, “Together we will pass every test”. Multi-award winning Nigerian musician and entrepreneur, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has released a new song two months after his 1-year-old son’s death.

Recall that D’banj and wife who got married on Saturday, June 2, 2016, in a very private wedding, suffered a devastating loss June 25, 2018, when their son and only child, Daniel Oyebanjo III, died after he drowned in a swimming pool at the family residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.

D’banj was away in Los Angeles for the BET Awards when the incident happened and at the time, Lineo was reportedly placed on suicide watch as insiders alleged she couldn’t stop crying since the tragedy.

The singer who dedicated his new song to his wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow, reassured her of his love and said together they will pass every test that they pass through.

Well, a song dedicated to Daniel jnr would have been better!! I mean that boy would still be here if proper care was given… If he died through any other means outside crawling or walking so many feet’s away before drowning without any adult seeing him…

We would say that’s how God wanted it.. each time I remember the death of that innocent boy, I cry like he were my own… I understand the love you have for your wife is strong and believe me it is commendable…

If there is any song that should be cooked in your studio right now, it should be the one telling little Daniel you both faltered as parents.. perhaps in the future, you can now release the one telling Didi your love for her is unconditional.

I do not judge you still just my thoughts bro. May the soul of little Daniel and the souls of all little kids around the world whose lives were cut short through negligence or any other way continue to rest in peace.. we beg God for these kids to be given to us and we must do everything humanly possible to give them protection and security.

Writing on his Instagram page while releasing the song, D’banj said: “Together We Will Pass Every Test That We Pass Through. This Is For You My Love. #WhatYouWant #LetterToMyWife #Everything #MamaDaniel 8/8/18.”
