Passage: 1 Corinthians 12:27

“You are Christ’s body and each of you is an individual part of it.”

Message: You’re Supposed To Be Different

The body is made up of individual parts, nothing about the human body is identical to another part, they may look alike, carry similar functions, but they’re not identical. Your fingers, for example, all have unique fingerprints, they look similar, but they’re not identical.

In a similar way, God didn’t create you to be the copy of another, there’s something unique about how you’ll carry out your purpose, you’re supposed to be different. Don’t be deceived by the lies of the enemy to ignore your truth, God’s interested and invested with the way you do things, it adds to the body. You can learn and be inspired by others, but you were never created to replicate them.

I pray we’ll embrace the beauty in our uniqueness, realizing its added value.
