There is no doubt that the gospel music industry in Nigeria has suffered for a long time because organizations, especially corporate bodies have not been doing much to give intending stars the needed platform to rise to fame. In 2014, Bennie Media Concept Organization started the ‘Most Talented Gospel Artiste In Nigeria (MTGAN)’, which was held in Lagos and won by Hassan Olakunle. The event is slated for January 21, 2016. MTGAN is endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation and the Federal Ministry of Youth and Development.
