How fame made Asake neglect his friends – Skit maker, Yemi Elesho
Popular content creator and skit maker, Yemi Elesho, has alleged that Afrobeat singer and YBNL signee, Asake neglected his friends after he became famous.
According to Elesho, the singer’s friends from his days as a struggling artist are complaining that he no longer reply their messages.
He further narrated how Asake’s friends at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife accommodated him throughout the time he pursued his degree.
The duo reportedly attended the same higher institution.
Although he agreed Asake could not possibly carry all his old friends along, Elesho noted that he ignored all of them.
Speaking in a recent interview with Echo Room, Elesho said, “Asake is big and a lot of his friends are complaining that he doesn’t reply their messages but it’s a natural thing, he can’t carry everybody along.”
