Nollywood actress, Mary Lazarus, has come a long way in the Nigerian big screen and she has been able to carve a niche for herself that she is almost seen in all movies.
One of the added advantage she had that has paved way for her is the fact that she is a twin and that has helped her play both male and female characters in movies with many not knowing.
Speaking with Nigeriafilms.com the actress explained that she never started with acting as she was a science student and a graduate of Geography at the University of Ibadan, but had this inner passion for entertainment which pushed her into modeling at a tender age.
In her words, “I started modeling at the age of 15 before I delved into movie. I knew I had this entertainment thing in me and during my secondary school time I had to finish up as a science student because there was no way I could crossover to theatre arts.”
On whether she will quit acting for an high paying job she said, “Acting is my life, it’s like a spirit that is attaching you to something that you can’t do without, so I don’t think I can do any White collar jobs.”
