In a recent interview, the singer who is rumored to be back with her estranged husband, Teebilz but still keeping it from the public, gushed over him.
She was all full of thanks, as he disclosed Teebilz was the one who insisted she return to Nigeria to do her music.
According to the singer, Teebilz didn’t like the idea of her writing songs for people neither did he like the idea of her been a backup singer.
In her words, ‘I met Tunji and he told me about the growing Afro beats scene back home in Nigeria. He thought I was wasting my talents being a songwriter and a backing singer and pushed me to move back to Africa. At first I thought it was a bit of a step backwards but he was adamant that this was my future. He knew it was what would set me apart from the rest’.
