Manchester United’s £75million man, Romelu Lukaku was arrested last week after a noise complaint during his stay in LA where he has been completing his transfer from Everton to Manchester United.
The Belgium international, who has been in the US with United midfielder Paul Pogba, landed himself in trouble over a ‘noise complaint’, but was released at the scene..
Reports in the US claim police handed out verbal warnings at a house party Lukaku was involved in, with a Beverley Hills police statement confirming the player was released at the scene.
Lukaku will now reportedly be required to appear in court in October 2, which comes during an international break, just days after Manchester United are due to play Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Beverly Hills Police in a statement released stated;
“On July 2, 2017, at approximately 8:00 PM, Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested a 24-year-old male subject by the name of Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli.
“Bolingoli received a misdemeanour citation for Beverly Hills Municipal Code Violation 5-1-104 – Excessive Noise. The citation was issued after officers responded to five other noise complaints from the same location, which resulted in verbal warnings.
“These noise violations occurred at a residence in Beverly Hills where Bolingoli was temporarily residing. Bolingoli was released at the scene with the citation and was not physically arrested.
“Bolingoli is scheduled to appear at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse on October 2, 2017.”
