The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has discovered another set of funds totaling $40 million in accounts linked to former first lady, Patience Jonathan.

According to Sahara Reporters, officials of Skye Bank confirmed the recent development to the EFCC who are angered by the explanations given by Mrs Jonathan on the earlier $30 million frozen by the Commission.

The newly discovered accounts were said to have been opened in fake names by Mrs Jonathan.

The EFCC has already obtained a court order to freeze the said accounts, as Mrs Jonathan is alleged to have hired Barrister Osuagwu Ugochukwu, the lawyer who helped Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai get off the hook on his alleged Dubai assets to help her retrieve the money from the EFCC..
