Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed the truth behind reports that Lionel Messi could move to the Old Trafford.

Reports in a Spanish outlet earlier claim that the Argentine superstar might leave the Camp Nou at the end of his contract with the Catalan giants but Mourinho has suggested otherwise, claiming the Argentine will never and should never leave the Nou Camp.

He said: ‘Every season is same story,’

He is going to leave and he never does. I hope he never leaves. He belongs to Barcelona.

‘For Man United, I am absolutely sure he won’t come.’

The United boss also talked about the future of Ibrahimovic, following suggestions he will be leaving the Old Trafford next summer with MLS a possible destination.

Mourinho explained: ‘Zlatan’s situation is simple,’

‘We are happy with him, he has a one-plus-one contract with the club, we are going to execute his second season.

‘He’s happy, committed and loving his life as a football player at United. It’s the last big challenge of his wonderful career.’
