The ‘masked-singer’, Bisade Ologunde, famously known as Lagbaja, has stated that he is ready to exercise his voting rights. Lagbaja disclosed recently that he finally obtained his Permanent Voter’s Card (PVD), which is needed by electorates to cast their votes. The musician also noted that some forces may have pushed President Goodluck Jonathan to seek re-election, after he had allegedly promised to run for a single term of four years in 2011. According to Lagbaja, the President needs help because ‘he knows that he cannot do this job’. Lagbaja further said, ‘he (Jonathan) really wants to leave now, he does not want a second term, but he cannot say that publicly. He is a hostage of the people pushing him because of them, he cannot simply walk away. So, he has to play along by campaigning for re-election ‘He really needs your help so that he can leave with dignity, help him by voting him out. Vote Buhari/Osinbajo on February 14.’
