Recently denying that he had quit music, rap music artiste, Lord of Ajasa, has revealed that he is not the founder of Yoruba music in Nigeria, he has said that was the pioneer of indigenous music in the country. With the likes of Phyno, Reminisce, Olamide, Ill Bliss, Mr Raw who have continued to blaze the trail of the indigenous rap music in Nigeria, Lord of Ajasa is making the claim that with his first steps in the direction of indigenous rap, these rappers have become more recognized. In an interview with Vanguard, the dark-skinned artiste said he is the foremost propagator of all forms of indigenous rappers. He said, "I am not one of the founders; I am the founder of indigenous rap in Nigeria. Not even just Yoruba, but indigenous rap as a whole. Who else started it before me?
