Training up a child becomes appropriate when done in a proper manner; there are ages that one has to overlook many things when it comes to kids. For a child who is just a year old, safety measure comes first as such child is still young and independent without a mind of his/her own.

Most kids of this age are just beginning to learn how to walk, say a few words, teething and learning how to hold a spoon.

Now to my point, Nollywood actor, MR Ibu posted a picture of his son with a local wooden mini mortal with its handle use in smashing pepper.

For him, he was trying to prove to us that training of his kids includes the kitchen aspect also but he failed to realize that such photo could earn him backlashes.

In his words: , “Always stay close to them , take them away from the street and teach them how to respect their parents from the early stage make them be useful especially in house chores by His grace that child will grow to be a good one.”

His point is great, but definitely not applicable to a child who is just a year old, something like pepper, is harmful to kids of his age, and he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere close.

One can call this a case of child abuse, having a little boy pound something harmful to him, as an educated person, we think MR Ibu should have known better.

Even if it was just for the camera, it isn’t appropriate for a young, and those with kids might definitely have the same perception.

Before trying to show off to impress people on social networks, let’s be careful of what we put out there.
