It is unclear what led to the altercation, but, from the clip, the officer is seen aiming a gun at the singer, threatening to open fire if the singer attempts to drive off.

“Dis [expletive] police man jump in front of my car and threatened to shoot me,” African China said. And in the video, the singer is overhead placing a call to an unknown person, laying complaints that he is being held hostage by the officer. However, they later resolved the conflict and the officer asked that the singer delete the video.

He explained "Nigeria see the kind of police men this Government put on our police station's to serve this nation…. After shooting @soundsultan music video in Aj I was about leaving after given money to Area boy's. This stupid police man jump in front of my car and threatened to shoot me. Naija make una see oh. Him beg me to Delete d video but I told him I will post it.
