Months ago, it was rumored that Wizkid had joined Davido in international label, Sony Musics/RCA.

But it was later debunked form the singer’s camp as they claimed it was still a work in progress and not yet finalized.

Now, it’s been finalized and officially announced by Sony music’s via their social media platform earlier today.

The international company is said to be excited having a big artiste like Wizkid working with them.

According to the chairman of RCA, Peter Edge, he said: “We are thrilled to welcome WizKid to the RCA Records family. He has become a superstar in the African music scene and will be a game-changer in bringing African music to the world. We are extremely excited to have him as a part of RCA and are eager for the journey ahead.”

This feat could have been concluded following his achievement in the great success of ‘One Dance’ which he co-wrote and co-produced with some foreign acts.

The song made its debut on bill board 100 on top 25 for over 15 weeks and also won a Grammy nomination, putting him out there on the international scene like never before.

We say congratulations to the singer on his multimillionaire deal!
