Boma, the estranged daughter-in-law, of Nollywood actors, Olu and Joke Jacobs, announced it on social media that she has been separated from Olusoji Jacobs for a while now.

In a question and answer session which she had on Instastory with her fans and followers, the Kalabari-born Boma was asked if she was still married to her husband and she answered, no.

Then she was asked if the marriage could be restored and she answered: “What God cannot do doesn’t exist However, there are some things that we don’t want God to do. You get iy? If not, forget about it.”

Recall in 2018, Olu Jacobs’s son, Olusoji married his lover, former Miss Boma Douglas in Buguma village, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

She revealed to have met Soji in Lagos when she worked on some projects with Joke Silva

“I got to know the rest of the family members, which includes Soji, his brothers, and his father. We started dating in 2016 when I graduated from the college and went to Lagos for my NYSC,” she revealed in an interview before the wedding.

The couple later had a white wedding ceremony in Lagos which was officiated by Pastor Tony Rapu.

The couple had a baby girl named Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanemi Abimbola Jacobs, who was born in Maryland, USA, in April 2019.

Though, Boma, who was always called Morounkeji by her mother-in-law, Joke Silva, didn’t state when their marriage crashed.

Meanwhile, the veteran thespian, Olu Jacobs is still battling dementia.

His wife Joke , revealed this in 2021 when she had an interview with Chude. To Joke, it has been hard on her and the entire family.

“He is dealing with issues and it is been going on for a couple of years. It is known as dementia with lewy body, it is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson type of disease, it affects the brain and affects the person…first time I’m saying this publicly….that is what we have been dealing…but the thing is, it is hard on him because he doesn’t understand what is going on and it is hard on us family members as well…we have gone through it over the past couple of years but we thank God,” she said in parts.
