A airplane carrying 81 people including popular Brazilian football team Chapecoense has crashed in the city of Medellin in Columbia. 6 people according to reports have survived the crash.

The report also claim electrical problems made the plane  crashed.

The team was due to play in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, against Medellin team Atletico Nacional.

The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) said it was suspending “all activities”. Two members of the football club including Alan Ruschel and  Danilo may have survived.

British Aerospace 146 short-haul was carrying 72 passengers and 9 crew.
