This weekend, Ibierebo Michael Ateke Tom (IB), the daughter of former militant leader in the Niger Delta region, Chief Ateke Tom will be getting married to Austin Ugwonna Okoro. 

 Meanwhile, Ateke has advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure that the polls are transparent in Rivers.

“I want Rivers people to go out for a peaceful election so that there will be peace in the state. Whether you are APC or PDP, go out on that day and vote peacefully.
