Award winning multi-media personality and bestselling author, Toke Makinwa has put a smile on a needy Nigerian who wrote to her about her condition.
A fan identified as Efizy wrote to Toke via her twitter handle to help her out because she has not eaten since the previous day and does not have any hope for the day.
It was very interesting to know that the media personality did not see the person as a fraudster or one who wants to take advantage of her position by appealing to her emotions.
She requested for the account number. It was learnt latter that she transferred some money into the persons account because of the nature of the conversation that transpired afterwards. Although the amount was not disclosed but I believe it will go along way.
Wao! How many celebrities will do just that. Some will rant over it on social media calling the person all sought of name but the truth , you may never know if the person who asked for help was actually passing through serious problem.
One thing I know Nigeria for is copying something and making it a trend.I hope someone else will not write to Toke asking her for financial help.
