The unveiling which took place in London today feature Nigerian super eagles players such as the super eagles captain John Mikel obi, Alex Iwobi of Arsenal, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City FC.

Wizkid was not left behind in the unveiling as he was pictured alongside Iwobi wearing the new kits.

Nike has gone back in time to bring a replicate of the famous 1994 Nigerian Jersey; the home jersey is a light green on white short with the shirt having some zigzag design of white all over it.

The away kit is a deep green color for both the shirt and shorts.

The kit manufacturers Nike said they wanted to 'tap into the attitude of the nation' with the design and aimed to build the kit based on the identities of the players.

Nike's Nigeria shirts are part of a collection which features Fast Fit Vapotknit technology to aid the athlete's performance.

Nigeria's 2018 kit pays homage to the shirt worn at USA 1994 - the West African nation's debut on the World Cup stage.
