Nigerian Army has not relented in its effort to eradicate Boko Haram Sect as it was reported that they killed 2 of the dreaded Sect at Gudumbali, Borno state.

It was learnt that the troops under the 118 Task Force Battalion, 8 Task Force Division set an ambush for the terrorists enroute Garere Junction. The army nabbed them on entering another location through Garere as they carried lots of logistics items.

Colonel Sani Usman, the Director of Army Public Relations who made a statement during the operation, said the troops killed 2 and wounded one of the Boko Haram terrorists.

“They also recovered 2 AK-47 and a G3 rifle. In addition, they recovered 660 litres of Premium Motor Spirit also known as petrol and yards of military uniforms.

“The troops also recovered a truck earlier stolen by the terrorists in Kangarwa,” the statement read.
