In order to mark the celebration of Eid-el Fitri, the Federal Government has publicly declared Tuesday, 5th and Wednesday, 6th July, 2016 as public holidays.

This was made known by the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau,as he urges all Muslim faithfuls as well as Nigerians to put into practice the spiritual benefits of Ramadan which are: love, peace and justice.

He also advised Nigerians to seize the opportunity of this great spiritual refreshing to think about the need for peaceful coexistence which he said will strengthen the bong of unity and build a formidable nation.

He said that President Mohammadu Buhari has an unalloyed determination to eradicate corruption to its bearest minimum with a plan to leave an enduring political legacy. Therefore, he entreated Nigerians to give their total support.
