Popular gospel singer, Prince Gozie Okeke was gifted a brand new Lexus SUV as a New year gift by the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka.

The controversial priest who often had issues with the Catholics over his involvement in politics appreciates the gospel singer with the gift of a new car.
Prince Gozie who could not hold back his joy took to his Instagram page to appreciate the Reverend Father.

“All I have to say is thank you Jesus, My father in the Lord Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka U will hear from me soon. May God keep you for me in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. I love you with passion,” he wrote on his page while sharing the video.

Meanwhile, the person behind the video making could be heard saying: “This is the car, the new car. This is the car as a New Year gift from Rev. Fr Mbaka to Gozie Okeke.”

Smitten by the automobile, the man added: “Look at this car!”

Meanwhile, Catholic priest, Ejike Mbaka has raised an alarm of a plot to kill him after a row with the Catholic Diocese of Enugu in May last year.

Giving his new year message, Mbaka recounted how he was asked to shut down his Adoration ministry in Enugu for one-month and embark on a retreat by Catholic Bishop of the Enugu Diocese, Callistus Onaga who cautioned him against meddling in politics.

This came after the Catholic Priest who was a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, switched and asked the President to resign or be impeached for “bad governance”. Recall also that the Presidency responded by alleging that he was angry because his request for government contracts was rebuffed.

Addressing his followers on New Year Day, Mbaka said;

You know they gave me order (at the time) not to come here (Adoration Ground) again till 30 days. Somebody that was summoned to a meeting,” he said. Mbaka

“It was the meeting I went for, but I didn’t know it was a panel. It was in that panel that they gave me an order not to conduct adoration again until 30 days and that I won’t enter my house until 30 days.

“I was asked to just move somewhere else other than Adoration ground or my house.”

He claimed that he obeyed the Bishop’s order, but that the Holy Spirit ministered to him that he should not park “anywhere”.

Mbaka added;

“I didn’t know I was being tracked that night. Before the next day you people started searching for me.

“Their plan was to capture me that night and drag me to Cubana (Hotel) and take me to Mobil where prostitutes stay and then take me around (there) and then, show video of me in the place (Brothel) so that people would ask what Mbaka was searching for in brothel.

“Then, they will again, drag me to Igboeze, another spot for Prostitutes. That’s where they planned to naked themselves, not me. So, then people would begin to ask what I am doing naked in prostitutes’ spot. Then, they will take me to Abuja and the story will be much, they will kill themselves, not me.”

Revealing that he has reviewed his initial apology to the church leadership and realised it was people who treated him badly that ought to apologise to him, the Catholic Priest warned people fighting his ministry to steer clear of it.
