All is not well at newly opened Ikeja City Mall where super store, Shoprite is housed.

This is happening as a result of agitation for the abolition of the newly introduced hourly rate payment for car parked at the city mall.

This move by the management of the store has reportedly reduced the level of patronage by visitors with cars.

We learnt that talks have been going on before now between South African owners of Shoprite and those who rented shops in the mall over the parking space payment.

To show their grievances, shop owners at the mall have reportedly shot down. This, we learnt will go on until the decision is reversed.
