Why I uploaded Junior Pope’s corpse on my Instagram – Actor Jerry Amilo

Actor Jerry Amilo, has explained why he uploaded the lifeless body of his late colleague, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, on Instagram.

Against allegations by Prince Eke and some of his fans that he uploaded the video to chase clout, the veteran actor said his reason was to stop people from calling him to confirm if Junior Pope was still alive or dead.

In a now-viral video, the thespian dismissed claims that he was chasing clout with Junior Pope’s death.

“I’m doing this video because my attention has been called by lovely fans who have been there with me through thick and thin concerning the post I made on Junior Pope’s demise.

“Firstly, I want to say that those who know me know that I don’t chase clout, it is only a pity that the post got to people that way. It was as a result of the stress we passed through yesterday, we were in that hospital till 1 am.

“People were calling to confirm if he had passed on or still living based on the confusion on social media. My phone kept ringing and that was why I had to make that post, my intention was not to chase clout because I’ve been in the industry since. Bit some people have started using the video to chase clout,” he said.
