Congolese Soukous singer, Koffi Olomide, is currently cooling off his feet in a Congolese jail over his assault on one of his dancers recently in Kenya and this has sent serious signals to some men that are involved in various forms of domestic violence.

Many have applauded the Congolese government for taking a good action on the matter as the singer was said to have earned himself a one year jail term after his return from his show in Kenya.

Trust our Nigerian On-air-personality, Daddy Freeze, has he has stepped into the matter by pointing out that the jail term was important to teach other men who are involved in such act a lesson.

“Although I sympathize with Koffi Olomide and his family as he begins his 1 year jail term, (this has not been confirmed) for assaulting a dancer, I feel the need to draw attention to the consequences of violence towards women.

“It’s a pity that Koffi Olomide has become a scapegoat for a crime many men are guilty of, however, such a high profile case would help enlighten the male public on the negative aftermath of such an action, and possibly serve as a deterrent for future offenders.

“Perpetrators of violence against men too should seize this opportunity to realize that the end result of violence is never pleasant. – FRZ”
