Speaking with the press, top Nollywood actor, Yemi Blaq disclosed reasons why he decided to pick the role. According to him, “It’s because the storyline is good and he believes it’s an award winning movie”.

In the same vein, the director, Femi Bright claimed it’s going to be the next level in the Yoruba movie industry when it hits the cinemas in a few weeks time. On his part, the producer, Fola Onifade said, “I decided to do this huge movie project to enlighten the people about the history of Lagos. There is a popular misconception that Lagos is a no-man’s land. I want everyone to know that Lagos is somebody’s land; it belongs to a group of people.

“It’s a fact finding and historical movie. It has the blessing of the Obas of Lagos. However, it’s being solely financed by me alone for now. However, I can assure you that it will cart away a lot of awards nationally and internationally, as it’s a blend of the best hands in the industry. It’s a movie that will become a force to be reckoned with in the industry”.
