Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, will always sit back and smile at year 2016, which to him has brought him more joy than tears.
Same 2016, he welcomed his first child after nine years of marriage and now he has just been conferred with a doctorate award.
The Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria on Saturday, 27th of August, 2016 at the National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja, conferred the award of Professional Fellowship Doctorate (Pfd) on the Nollywood veteran actor.
The selection committee of the Institute, which carried a detailed appraisal of Kenneth Okonkwo stated that “this is coming as special recognition to appreciate your contribution and commitment to Economic growth and development of this country Nigeria . Your practical commitment and approach to Economic activities is a source of motivation which is worthy of recognition. Your attribute outstands you as an achiever of remarkable intelligence, dignity and commitment to the service of humanity”.
He is a renowned Legal Practitioner, a prolific writer, motivational speaker, public affairs analyst and a philanthropist.
