Actress Ruth Eze slams those celebrating Junior Pope’s posthumous birthday

Nollywood actress Ruth Eze has blasted her colleagues who posted late actor, Junior Pope on his posthumous birthday.

The actress tagged the celebration as hypocritical, stating that these same set of people did not celebrate the late movie star while he was alive.

“Did u ever celebrate him when he was alive? If NO, give me one reason u’re celebrating him now he’s dead”.

“Hypocrites, pls answer me,” she posed.

Although Eze did not list the names of the actors she was referring to, there are assumptions that her anger was at her colleague, Baba Rex, who had put up a post for the deceased and locked his comment section.

Also, veteran actress, Rita Edochie, Rachael Okonkwo, Stanley Nwoko and May Edochie used their social media platforms to celebrate the deceased.

Recall that the actor lost his life in March after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State alongside some crew members.

Yesterday, May 7th would have been his 44th birthday and as such, many of his colleagues took to their Instagram pages to mourn him.
