Famed Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha famously known as Basket Mouth has been named Savanna African Pan-African comic Award which was introduce this year at the Lyric theatre Johannesburg, South Africa.

Basket Mouth is the first comedian to win Savanna African Pan-African comic Award which was first introduced this year. It was also the first time the award offered nomination opportunity for comedian from Nigeria, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Angola and Lesotho according to reports.

Basket Mouth received the award diadem from Dillon Khan, the vice president of comedy central. Basket Mouth looked all smiles as he post with the award and express his joy in these words through his social media page “thank you very much comedy central, I truly appreciate this.
