Following the feud between the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun, an ex-governor of old Ondo State Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua  has urged President Mohammadu Buhari to intervene in the situation.

He also said that the September 3 APC governorship primary poll conducted in Ondo State should be cancelled so that the party will not concede defeat in the gubernatorial poll.

He continued by saying that the party may likely lose if a fresh and transparent primary poll was not conducted.

He said: “The protests and the kinds of information that we received after the primary are unpalatable and do not portray our party in good light. It does not say well of us as a party that is trying to instill discipline.

“With this development, what are we instilling?  What are we teaching? What lesson or impression are we creating? Definitely, it is a negative impression that sends bad signal about us and our party.

“When two elephants fight, the grass suffers and, no doubt, this misunderstanding has caused a lot of damage within our party, and could cause the early disintegration of the party if care is not taken
