The Lagos state police command has arrested two of the suspected armed robbers that attacked Basket mouth in his Ikoyi resident.

It would be recalled that the ace comedian and his family were attacked on 7th September and the robbers made away with some valuables leaving them unhurt.

According to the female Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Titilayo Oluwasanmi Oriyomi who confirmed the report said that the suspects were apprehended in Ilasan area of Lekki, Lagos during a 7 hour operation.

The police who stormed their hideout recovered two AK47 rifles and live ammunition.

Two of the suspected armed robbers who allegedly attacked famous Nigerian stand-up  were taken to Anti-Robbery Squad where they have made confessional statement.

The police are still on with their investigation that will help them apprehend other syndicate members.
