Nigerian legends Kanu, Okocha and Peter Rufai are set to make a return to action in a friendly match in honour of the first lady of Nigeria, Mrs. Aisha Buhari.
The National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), who are the organizers of the charity match said the program is organized in conjunction with the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF and it will be played on 10th of March 2018 at the Abuja national stadium in support of the charity work of Aisha Buhari’s foundation Future Assured Programme.
The director general of NCWD Mrs. Mary Ekpere-Eta disclosed this on a press briefing were he said;
NCWD and UNICEF having recognized the laudable project of the first lady, is hosting the two-day programme in her support for the work she is doing especially for the Nigerian child.
The football match will feature Nigerian Super Eagles legends, Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwakwo, Peter Rufai and others versus legends of FC Barcelona, including Ronaldinho, Edgar Davids and others.
