A woman, mother of 3, was rescued alive, but with minor burns, as a result of fire outbreak in a bungalow building at 11 Morounfolu Street, Otubu busstop, Agege, Lagos, today.

 

The woman had been trapped in the inferno with nobody indicating that she was inside, until a relation from different community rushed in and raised alarm on her whereabouts before search and rescue efforts were focused on her room and this led to her being rescued alive.

She had, since, been taken to an undisclosed hospital by her relation. The cause of the fire was unknown. NEMA, Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN) Fire Service, State Fire Service, Police and LASEMA Fire Service Unit responded to the distress alert.
