It came as a shock when Wizkid’s latest hit, Manya, was pulled down from the Starboy’s YouTube account, as many people struggled to understand why a video that had gathered over 1.5 million views within a week could be sacrificed.

 

But it seems the video was taken down because of the terms of his contract with Sony Music. According to sources, his contract with Sony Music limits the local content he puts out. Since he agreed to the terms, he was left with no other choice than to bring the video down.

Do you recall he never released the video of his song, Medicine, featuring Flavour and Phyno, despite speaking highly about it months ago?

It was also learnt that the song, Manya, is originally owned by producer, Mut4y of Legendury Beatz. For the lovers of the song, you can still the video on Mut4y’s YouTube account.
