The call for the implementation of copy right laws on comedy materials by some industry players will not be visible and on necessary according to Steve Onu, popularly called Yaw.

 

The comedian, actor, producer, and On-air Personality on WAZOBIA Fm, Yaw, in an interview shared his thoughts on the implementation of ‘Copyright’ laws on comedy materials “If you give credit to the owner of the original joke, it’s okay. We don’t have problems; senior comedians also don’t have problems with it. It might be difficult to implement it.”

Yaw, whose real name is Steve Onu started his career in showbiz since 1995 before he joined 95.1 Wazobia FM radio station. He has featured in TV dramas such as, Twilight Zone Flatmates, Dear Mother and Fuji House of Commotion. The name Yaw originated from a role he played in the famous sitcom entitled Flatmates
